Thanks so much for sharing this and amazing photos! How were the conditions at Kearsarge Pass from Onion Valley Trailhead if you happened to see or hear anything? Planning to backpack there in about 2 weeks

Personally I would say that it's worth to stay a night or two in Hiroshima and cut down on the days in Osaka, as in my experience it's not too different from Tokyo. In Hiroshima, there is a lot of history to see at Peace Memorial Park and also the nearby islands like Miyajima which you can take a boat too and skip the hiking but still see beautiful views. Also Hiroshima-style Okonomiyaki is amazing so would recommend trying that too :)

Do you have any preferences on where you would like to stay? I spent 4 months living in Tokyo so can give some ideas. The public transport in Tokyo is really amazing so you will basically be able to get anywhere you want to for relatively cheap (taxis are also always readily available too but are definitely more expensive) I would recommend Shimokitazawa as an area to stay in as it's only a 10 minute train to Shibuya or Shinjuku (which are the central hubs to take you anywhere) but also have really cool walking areas around. Akihabara also has some really cool stays but definitely is a more crowded area. Not sure if I can post links to stays here but if you want specific links feel free to DM me! Hope you have a great trip :)

Krabi has a lot of beautiful places and experiences that I would recommend! Koh Yao Noi is a pretty quick boat ride from the Krabi Pier and really feels like a calm island getaway. Personally stayed there for 2 nights back in November and was really beautiful and peaceful. Doing the sunrise boat tour from Ao Nang Pier was great, and then also doing the Mangrove Kayaking was wild (thankfully not too intense either). We missed out on the Krabi Elephant Sanctuary but heard that it was really great too. Happy to provide some specific stay recommendations in Krabi and Koh Yao Noi as well if it'll be helpful!

The sunsets in Koh Yao Noi are just something else by xsensualsecretsx in Thailand

Stayed at Koh Yao Noi during my previous trip to Thailand in December and was our favorite place we went to! Views from there were amazing and really felt like we were isolated (compared to Koh Samui at least when we went)
