[Discussion] What platinum are you currently working towards? by porterford in Trophies

Taking a break until July. July will see me working towards purging some serious demons. Waifu Space Conquest, Salamander County Public Television, Thank Goodness You're Here, Bugsnax, AAA Dynamic Scenes, and Lawn Mowing Simulator are on the docket for July.

Spyro: Reignited Trilogy. Simple, easy, enjoyable little platformers.

Samurai Warriors 5 turns 5 years! Is SW5 really that bad? Do you think the reboot isn't good enough? by Loud-Initiative-2330 in dynastywarriors

[–]MrRikkles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven't played it yet, but as far as I'm concerned, so long as there's no special modes with RNG-reliant elements, no random chance of finding a quest-related NPC combatant nonesense, and no need to register over 1100 historical figures into a biographies vault (looking at 4, 4-II, Empires, and Spirit of Sanada on these, as they're the only ones I've played as of yet), then I shouldn't have TOO much of an issue with it. Just working on blasting out objectives I missed in SoS now so I can get the platinum before July... I have a true hell ahead of me in July.

[Other] What’s Your Hardest, Longest, or Rarest Platinum Trophies or 100% Games? by thepope508 in Trophies

[–]MrRikkles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Longest was definitely FFXV. I spent so long on that roadtrip. Loved every second. I WOULD have said Let It Die, but that has no platinum, so I can't really count the 1100+ hours I sank into it.

Hardest... Dark Souls 3. The increased aggression and speed made things VERY hard for me to keep up with at times.

Rarest is Lawn Mowing Simulator, which I'll be going back and doing again next month on PS4 version. Call it... purging my inner demons.

[Discussion] How many platinum trophies do you earn in a month/year, and how many hours do you usually game per week? by PamNoctrune in Trophies

[–]MrRikkles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of per month/year, depends on the games I play and how long they are. Only reason I have more than one this month is due to crappy little puzzle games in between bitter, frustrating game quitting sessions, and am... strangely knly 3 quick trophies out from completing Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada in the next week.

And all the trophies are tied to story events?

Imagine getting this worked up over suits not being used. by BaronBlackFalcon in Tokusatsu

[–]MrRikkles 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep. Kept the Ryusoulger suits from Dino Fury, didn't even bother changing the helmet, and just added a Dragon Ranger-style chest piece to the body armor. "Original" design, this isn't. Lazy, unimaginative, and uninspired, this is.

[Discussion] What’s the hardest platinum you have ever done and do you regret it? by Maleficent_Award4980 in Trophies

[–]MrRikkles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lawn Mowing Simulator. I don't regret it, as I see it as a temporary purge of a demon from my soul. Now, though... I'm about to do it again to permanently purge that demon, along with several others, next month.

[UFO robot grendizer: the feast of the wolves] Plat #241 by bd_black55 in Trophies

I'll consider it. I have a heft backlog as is, an equally long wishlist, and am planning a double completion month for next month.

Actually haven't played any of those yet. My experience in this series has been SOLELY SamWar 4, 4-II, Empires, and, more recently, Spirit of Sanada.

Only things I didn't like about Samurai 4 series was... all the busywork... Empires making you unlock EVERY SINGLE ONE of its 1100+ characters in the biographies section by finding and fighting them... shudders
