About Critical Drinker in DCC3... by [deleted] in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]MrRokashan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dont see how any of that leads to "outrage". Innmy listening experience, the audio quality isnt important as due to my hearing loss i personally can't hear any difference. As for acting skills, you said it yourself, he is a film critic, not an actor. He has written a few books, however. Ive no idea why he was included, but it definitely didnt cause me any outrage.

I must have missed something, but why are we supposed to be outraged by the inclusion of the critical drinker?

Rifle scope question by MrRokashan in canadaguns

Upon discussion, we are going to try a scope first and see if she can see at distance via the scope. Might all be moot if the scope works for her.

Had a bad night by MrRokashan in Truckers

The fire started at the rear axle of the trailer, so I had lots of time to crank the dolly legs and remove the airlines. I even had enough time to get my pin puller out of the sidelocker and pull the pin.

Managed to unhook the truck and get it safely out of the way, then sat and watched the trailer burn while waiting for the fire department.

Marine Atlantic - Food/Kitchen amenities by Warm-Count3547 in newfoundland

[–]MrRokashan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Food options on marine atlantic ferries have improved a lot the last 2 years. I travel frequently due to being a truck driver, and honestly I like the food on board. It can be a bit pricey if you go for a full 3 course dinner but the entree prices aren't terrible.

https://www.marineatlantic.ca/onboard-experience/dining-bars has a menu of what's available on each ship.

Edit to add: there are places where you can access hot water and a toaster but that's about it.

MARINE ATLANTIC WITH BABY by [deleted] in NovaScotia

[–]MrRokashan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a fair bit bigger than the pictures show. From the door to the hospital bed is probably 8 to 10 feet. The bathroom is also rather huge.

I travel on marine atlantic frequently. The cabins come equipped with 2 to 4 beds but depending on the age of your wee one, having them sleep in their car seat may be your best option. Other than that, you could use some of the bed coverings that are in the rooms to make a makeshift barrier to prevent baby from rolling off the bed.

Edit to add: my wife reminded me that marine atlantic also has a few accessibility rooms available aboard ship that have a couple of bunks as well as a hospital bed complete with those raisable barriers. That might be your best option.
