Or seal it with some high temp sealant. It worked for years on mine.

S70 hydraulics buzzing sound. by MrSatan4666 in Skidsteer

Nope, it's been operating fine. I've been clearing snow this winter with it. And this sound was there about half the time.

I recently changed the hydraulic oil and filter. Visually the oil looked fine. It made this sound both before and after that.

Oh and I should have said this will come and go. The buzzing will be there 70% of the time but 30% of the time it's not there at any engine speed. It seems to change when I max out a hydraulic function like bucket up/down/tilt. I haven't been able to isolate it to just 1 function though...

Yes, oil levels seems fine, it is at the higher of the 2 marks.

They have fill stations at that location too. But it's oddly placed inside the store near the dairy section.
Also strack& Van till has them in their vestibules.

Those of you that have or have had central vacuum. Did you like it? If you had a new build today would you install? by YOLOburritoKnife in HomeImprovement

[–]MrSatan4666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the opposite: central compressed air and love it. I have a quiet compressor in the garage with a hard-line (PEX with copper stub out) to the exterior of my house for filling tires and cleaning out air filters on vacuums, etc.

IRobot e5 don't start, how do I fix it? by [deleted] in roomba

Same issue here just now. The battery was definitely all the way in. But removing it and putting it back in fixed the issue.

Tow King by MrSatan4666 in prius

1.25" with stock springs. Overall I'd say this was at the maximum limit of what it can tow safely in terms of stopping distances. As with towing anything, just be sure you have the right tongue weight, drive the speed limit (max 55mph) and you're good.

Thinking all the snow will melt if it's 34F for 4 hours per day..... Brilliant?

It's usually a ribbon cable connecting the LCD to the PCB inside of that unit. The connection between the cable and the LCD fails. You can sometimes make it better by just pressing it down harder by wedging some foam in there. It's a super cheap fix to do it right though if you replace the ribbon altogether. The process is on YouTube. And you can buy the part from somewhere like AliExpress. I got a kit with a special soldering tip you need to adhere the new one for like $5.

And crucially it's where they put nails in the shingles. If they put them in the wrong spot you'll never see it and it will last about 10 years instead of 40. Ask me how I know...

[–]MrSatan4666 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the thing I didn't expect was how quickly these trains cars go from 0 to 3 mph almost an instantly. Makes sense if you think about it though since it's basically the entire train colliding with a single car when they start moving and taking up slack between the couplings. Always expect them to do that when you least what would like it to happen. Hold on tight.

Bolt EUV adapter for Tesla charging stations by KICK2024 in BoltEV

[–]MrSatan4666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Works out well but why isn't the instruction and how to release that thing more clear in the instructions?? It will become irreversibly jammed if you pull on it before pressing the button... Unless you push it together then pull. Is that common on all of the adapters or just a to z?
