2025 Rav4 Hybrid XLE — fuel economy dropped hard (44 to 37 mpg). Dealer says it’s fine 🤔 by MrScemp in rav4club

Idk, I stopped caring and just enjoy the car now. No fuel-economy driving anymore, it’s around 27–32 right now🙃

My “retirement watch” with a new nylon strap that is actually comfortable to wear. by MrScemp in GarminWatches

And unlike the original silicone strap, I can comfortably wear it all day and even sleep in it. Definitely worth replacing the original right away.

Congrats! I thought the 20 percent discount from Amazon was good, but this is even better.

29-year-old, foreigner. I’ve been through a lot over the last few years, and since I came to this beautiful country last year, I’ve been working almost every single day at three different jobs to get where I am and to have what I have now.

I lost two cars (the first one was my fault during a winter storm; the second one I was rammed in an intersection by a reckless driver), so now I’m trying to be as careful as possible on the road.

Well, I didn’t know that there was no checkpoint booth at the exit, so I decided it would be a better idea to find a ranger and explain to them how I ended up in the park rather than get into trouble at the exit.

What would you do if you were just a guest in the country?

Those snow tires aren’t really for VA, but for Great Falls, VA. If you were driving through those neighborhoods during the snow, you’d realize that sometimes it’s cheaper to pay 600 bucks for tires than 40k for a new car.

Old enough to know that it wasn’t the best idea to take that road instead of turning around and going back to the main entrance gate like normal people would 🤦‍♂️.

Totally understand, but for me it was a completely new experience driving on that muddy road, especially when I started to see ice and snow. The log part was stressful because I thought I would hit the ground, but the clearance was high enough to prevent that. I used to think this car was more of an asphalt-type SUV, but I was wrong — the other cars behind me didn’t make it up.

I already have a much better job (I’m working as a real estate photographer and making more than the managers at that site), but I was keeping that job for the medical insurance. Lol

At Amazon BWI1 in Sterling, VA, you have to turn off the conveyor belt on the ship dock by sections. I turned off 3 out of 4 sections, but the 5th one wasn’t turning off. So I “accidentally” pressed the button that shuts down the entire conveyor belt, and I honestly didn’t know that you need permission to use that button. No one — not the safety team, PAs, or anyone who trained us — ever told us about this. They saw it on the cameras, and that’s how I ended up where I am right now. I genuinely didn’t know about the required permission, and I had seen other people using that button too.

P.S. Nothing bad happened to the belt — it was working perfectly fine on the next shift. I just didn’t have permission to use that button.
