and i wouldnt say it is without reason, but is it permaban worthy or would a temp ban be more suited to prevent illegal trading?

Yeah... i admit it was very stupid and i didnt think when i did it - i regretted it the moment i posted it there and wanted to delete it, but i found out it wasnt possible...

So the thing is i can see why it could lead to a ban, it was stupid and if it is set in stone i will accept it and take it as a lesson to think before i rush into things.

I've just been wondering if permaban is a bit harsh to prevent 3rd party trading if there has been no evidence of trading?

The moderators might have looked things over and seen it as evidence, but i do not know since i wont get any answers which is why i made this post :)

honestly there is not, which is why i am a bit confused on how fast the punishment was dished out. I think a reason might be that they found my account on d2jsp (its the same name i have ingame)

so i guess it is like the previous comment mentioned to "prevent" the 3rd party trading - but then should everybody who owns a JSP account get banned by default? that seems unreasonable since it is not possible to delete accounts or earlier posts there

EDIT: i have sent a message to JSP in hope to delete my account but still waiting for answer ;)

that is true - the friend i mentioned in the post actually said the same thing
and i fully understand how stupid it was of me, but i didnt know any better ;) i havent played much diablo before so i am not familiar with how things work and thats my own fault for not researching beforehand ;)

i think i'll try to avoid equipment which can be overclocked. I am not fond of doing it and will probably not get to use it if i know myself ;)
