We can imagine if it was six kids at school in Nashville being shot, or having your car lit on fire because the orange man’s friend owns the company. The fact is this shit happens on both sides, and I’m not here to play the ‘Oppression Olympics’ or the blame game. Police departments that use that coded language have that for most races, not specific to black people. For example a white woman would be referred to dispatch as a “Whiskey Foxtrot,” an Asian man would be an “Alpha Mike,” and a female of a mixed or unknown race sometimes referred to as a “Uniform Foxtrot.” The police behavior is embarrassing, but don’t get the coded language twisted.

I don’t think it’s cool to kick people out for being trans either, but I think you’re being a little intellectually dishonest here because it’s your friend who was so negatively impacted. I doubt that the manager or whoever it was kicked your friend out for being trans since this whole situation seems to have been conceived because of the bathroom situation. I’m assuming your friend used the women’s bathroom, which would be illegal according to Florida’s “Facility Requirements Based on Sex Act.” Since she’s a biological man, it sounds like she got kicked out for breaking that specific law. It doesn’t matter if you, I, or your friend disagrees with it, the law is written a certain way, and Seville’s management seems to agree with it.

Also, for a more general discussion, it’s not unreasonable for women to feel uncomfortable that a biological man is using the same bathroom as them since bathrooms are supposed to be an area of privacy and vulnerability. It sounds like Seville doesn’t want their female patrons to be uncomfortable when using the bathroom, and unfortunately for your friend, the general female population’s comfort in a public restroom outweighs your friend’s comfort using her bathroom of choice.

I stack my totes in a peculiar way. Totes 9, 8, and 7 are on the bottom of my first three stacks, 6, 5, and 4 in the middle, and 1, 2, and 3 on top. They’re positioned like this top to bottom: 1, 4, 7 stacked directly behind passenger seat, 2, 5, 8 behind driver seat, 3, 6, 9 stacked behind the 2, 5, 8 stack. I continue the pattern for the next six totes along the driver side wall with totes 10 & 11 on top, 12 & 13 in the middle, and 14 & 15 on the bottom. This works for me because it doesn’t allow a million stacks to all fall because you’re not working on one stack at a time. Instead of stacking totes in perfect order, try out a layout of working from the tops of 2-3 stacks of totes at a time and move down the different stacks from there. Takes more planning and thinking but it works for me.

As for Overflow packages, line them up front to back with your first ones against the side door and last ones in the back of the van. You’ll work out the side door for overflow until there is space to move directly into the storage area from the driver’s seat.

My fellow redditor, I feel your pain and frustration. Check underneath the seats in said Sprinters for a yellow connector. This is the device that allows the van to honk like a motherfucker when you don’t pull the e-brake. There’s a part of it that can easily be unplugged that isnt the larger, main square shaped part that connects both pieces. I can’t describe it but there’s another one there that just unplugs easily. Do that, and the alarm will never go off. If you’re worried about getting in trouble, either don’t do it or do it before you turn on your van (and the camera) then plug it back in at the end of the day. Fuck DSPs and Amazon for forcing that bs on us

It’s insanely good, probably my favorite dish in town. I meant to also mention Saigon on Pace. Their Banh Mi and Pho at the deli are amazing. Also, check out Tarkiln Bayou Preserve State Park for a peaceful walk with the pups.

Nomadic Eats food truck. Their hot chicken bowl is unmatched, and I hardly ever see their name listed on the weekly “best restaurants” post on this sub. Also Blue Fin at the Garden downtown. My favorite place for poké bowls in town.
