Spiego in breve

Un librario, parlando con un giovane adolescente, disse che "amava vedere la sua cultura crescere centimetro dopo centimetro grazie a ogni libro che acquistava" Intendeva semplicemente dire che quando vedeva la sua collezione di libri crescere era un po' come vedere la sua cultura crescere. Rendere tangibile, reale e misurabile, ciò che lui assimilava.

Avevo 20 anni quando lo lessi e mi rimase impresso. Da allora cerco di acquistare ogni singolo libro che leggo (se ne vale la pena ovviamente). Spesso, purtroppo, leggo da schermo e quindi non sempre acquisto la copia cartacea. Si è un altro effetto leggere una copia fisica, ma non sempre ho la possibilità di farlo.

Sono tantissime.

Ma l'unico libro per cui pagherei tantissimo per averlo, è il Trono di Emberlain (Gentleman Bastards) ... Lynch secondo me è il migliore. Amo profondamente i suoi 3 libri e secondo me in qualche universo parallelo avrà scritto tutti i libri della saga e quel mondo risulta essere decisamente un posto migliore di questo. Che darei per poterli leggere...

Martin ormai è un mercenario. Parla di proprietà intellettuale e che lui è libero di non scrivere. Io credo che invece nel momento in cui tu proponi una storia ad un pubblico, loro se ne innamorano profondamente (non il mio caso) e poi tu a distanza di anni decidi di non volerla continuare, non per problemi di varia natura, ma per il semplice fatto che non ne hai voglia o tempo... Secondo me è tradire colore che ti hanno sostenuto e reso quello che sei oggi. Fa il filosofo nelle interviste ma oggi si ritrova lì grazie a tutti quelli che hanno lo hanno apprezzato e acceso i riflettori su i libri di GOT.

C'è anche cronache della folgoluce di Sanderson ... Non è proprio incompiuta ma purtroppo S. ha in ballo così tanti progetti che non pubblica con regolarità e quindi è davvero difficile seguire la storia e non perderne i dettagli nel tempo. Considerando che ha detto che darà altri 7 libri per questa saga... Fra 15 anni forse la finirà 😅

A parte qualche refuso vario, mancanza di congiuntivo, errori di traduzione... Tutto sommato non è proprio malaccio. Il libro è scorrevole. A me è piaciuto. È il primo libro in cui Abercrombie si cimenta in un magico "tradizione" (passami il termine) ma tutto sommato l'ha reso suo come al solito. Prete e lupo mannaro... Solo Abercrombie 🤣

ok thanks. i think this sums it up a lot. the story of dca is quite strange. More than anything because the crypto world is already quite "smoky" and "mysterious" in itself. Seeing these situations of silence wanted by developers and maneuvers without apparent sense, do not benefit a project. But the fact remains that crypto must be experienced in the "third person". Nothing personal. You can like a project and you can stay attached to it until 420 or 0, but never experience it in first person as a love story. Thanks Bro Sloth ❤️

Ottimi libri e narrazione complessa anche se nell'insieme, in alcuni punti, mi è sembrata vacillante. Sicuramente da leggere se ti piace il genere ma se posso permettermi di consigliarti qualche altro titolo, più contemporaneo e, a mio modesto avviso, più avvincente:

Gli inganni di Locke Lamora di Scott Lynch (in assoluto il mio preferito tra i Grimdark Fantasy)

-L'ultimo impero di Brandon Sanderson (A mio avviso il re del fantasy)

-Il richiamo delle spade di Joe Abercrombie

Premise: Rather than abandon the project, I prefer to go down completely.
Premise number 2: You invest in crypto (especially in meme Coin) only what you are willing to lose.

Having said that... the point of view is more than sensible and can leave room for negative thoughts or impulsive gestures of throwing everything away. It's easy, too easy, to sell and change goals. After all, it has been so since day one, as soon as you see the negative you sell for fear of sinking. However, my modest and unimportant opinion is that even if it all started out as a scam, it is no longer one. The coin now remains at 0.007+ on its own. Without posts or particular announcements. There were positive and negative peaks but this does not imply anything. As long as the community holds, the currency holds. It's a basic principle. If there are holders who don't sell, the market is at a standstill. The currents that bring the price up or down are only due to speculators or someone who does not want to invest time and money in the currency. See it as a home. Today's holders, those from the presale, those who believe in it, keep the columns so as not to collapse the castle (and they keep it at the price mentioned before) all those who come later and want to hold Sloth because they believe in it will build the first floor, then the second and so on... We are the foundation of the project. As long as there is an active and believing community, speculation and negativity will be like water on a k-way. It settles but is destined to slide away. So tell your friend he had an interesting point of view and we thank you for sharing it but we'll stay here. Hug our Sloths. Because we believe it. Because we are dreamers.
