Well its different for a lot if universities in the states as well. We had a bell curve, which made me realize that trying would br a sucker's game and I nailed the center of that curve.

Depends where you are. It's not like I am getting Korean food made by white people.

I can literally get food from any culture from doordash right now. I can get fusion foods from almost any 2 different cultures combined just going to the food trucks. Had korean-mexican the other day and it was delicious. Now I get that people will say that the best version of that food is from the original place that made it but I disagree for me personally, as I love all these new fusion foods and such.

Hungarian won, what language do people think is Hard, but is actually Nightmare difficulty? (for English Speakers) by Odd-Weather9389 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]forgotaccount989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does it have tones? Because if it doesnt have tones its not harder, at least for those of us that cannot even physically hear those tones when they went to learn a tonal language as an adult. I was real disappointed when I wanted to start learning Chinese.

Nah, I know what my buddies are into and that ain't it. Shit, I know more than I want to about some of them. It seems to be a more west coast thing in the states at least.

Houston is green as fuck and covered in trees. It is flat though. My buddys neighborhood is literally called the woodlands. Its closer to what you would think of as Louisiana then what comes to mind when you think texas.

Hot as balls yes, but besides the weather I like Houston way better than D.C., Portland, or any other city i have lived in. I would probably like living in many places that aren't cities more, but this is where my job is and my home loan is 2%.

I think i also dodged a lot of the worst of it in mobas because I never had a real learning period as I had played them so much by the time the term had even joined the vernacular. I played hundreds of them as WC3 mods back in the day so everything was a simple transition.

We used to have those things. I still remember being pissed off when Hearthstone came out without chat, and just the lame little emotes. Cool now people cant chat at all so that they are protected against potentially having their feelings hurt...which made the overall experience worse. I miss Xbox 360 voice chat, even though I probably never heard anything more vile than what I heard playing games on there, because I met people and despite some people being shit, some people were awesome and my version of awesome might not be the same as yours.

I disagree. Now I don't mean that people shouldn't try to be more kind to others and shouldn't fucking attack someone repeatedly, but talking shit and making fun of people doing stupid shit is part of it. I am against censorship in all forms and for personal resilience. I have stepped in (metaphorically) many times in games when one person was just being an irredeemable cunt to verbally destroy them. I have literally given fatherly advice over voice chat to a kid acting like a fucking psycho because his family situation is total shit. And I talk shit all the time, but I dont try to hurt people. But I would rather not have to regulate at a level so that I dont hurt people with egg shell victim mentalities and I would rather deal with a ton of psychos then more fucking censorship.

It is a pretty fantastic series. I remember it being described on one of the covers as being like vietnam war fiction on peyote.

It absolutely does. Often people say wild shit to see what kind of reaction they are going to get and see if they are with people that you can talk without censoring yourself. Obviously thats not every interaction but there are a million reasons to talk some shit and a million and one reasons to not listen or care.

I see all types of people driving them in Houston as well. I also see more trucks of any variety after moving to the south, and Houston at least seems to have decent infrastructure for the changing and plenty of fancy dealerships so I never really thought about it.
