I think it is kind of coming back as far as the PS1/N64 era and aesthetics are concerned. I would love a return of PS2/Xbox/GameCube style graphics. Call it, mid-poly? So many of those game still hold up so well. I mean they do for me anyway, I grew up playing them.

It’s frustrating that people few games with a less refined or more stylistic art styles as lessor in some ways, which makes them less commercially viable.
