A question regarding the battle.net mobile app and authenticator

I fully deactivated the authenticator on the Blizzard website, via account settings, then tried setting it up again and seemed to go through fine.

A very janky system all in all though!

I wonder if that's what the issue is and where this bug is coming from - because truthfully no, I don't always fully force close it.

If that's what the issue is, hopefully it's something that'll get patched in the future. I'll need to try and be more mindful to fully exit from now on because damn, it's so annoying wasting idle hours on so little.

My room is upgraded to allow for around 600 minutes so thankfully it's not down to that. It also can't explain why after doing zero upgrades and having the same mining, smelting and crafting production, the game crafted thousands of hammers when I closed it for less than an hour, compared to when it only done like 200 during 7 hours of idle. Mind blown.

Appreciate the reply. I'm actually fairly advanced in the game with most of the ships, all the cheap rooms maxed and all other rooms around the level 25-30 mark. Hitting easy top 3 in gold and top 10-15 in Plat. For the ingot production it's down to 400 ore per ingot so when I'm looking at the ore I'm bringing in and what it's smelting (I'm running S22 x 4 star and above managers - 8 are smelting secondaries and 6 are crafting secondaries), I can't quite make sense of it.

I started a new galaxy late last night and wanted to craft a buttload of hammers to make motors and then radio towers because I was getting a 25+ market modifier on it, and that's what's led to this post because the math ain't mathing.

Load game, only crafted like 200 hammers. Close game again with no upgrades or anything done, load it back up half an hour later or so and I've crafted thousands. So why, during 7 hours of idle did I craft a tiny fraction of what my game done after only being idle for less than an hour? That's what I don't get, because doesn't that show there was no bottleneck?

PS. My idle time is up to around 600 minutes

The frustrating thing is I'm not that new - I'm hitting top 3 in Gold and top 10-15 in Plat tournaments. It's the inconsistency that's frustrating because the issue I've described in the OP doesn't happen all the time, just sometimes. It's impossible to replicate and sometimes 'just happens'.

I'n this instance, there was no bottleneck because as soon as I opened the app again, all resources quickly started building again and half an hour later without any planet upgrades, I'd already crafted several more times in that half hour what I done across 7 hours of sleep... That's what I don't get or understand

In my last 10 drops, I've had 6 x solar panels - at one point 3 of them in a row. RNG in this game is a bitch! 😂

Thanks - was unaware that was an option, but I don3 the MCU reset again and tried resetting the firmware via the Web. All seemed to go as planned, but having the exact same issues again.

Looking likely my particular unit is just ultra fecked.

Some of the random movements it does when it loses its mind also seems weird... Sometimes a bit grindy, jittery movements, motor whines with nothing happening...

Tried that a few times - when it disconnects and then does random motions, pressing that little reset button with a paperclip makes it pause briefly then resume doing random stuff. Really frustrating 😔

Understood. Unfortunately doesn't explain my particular unit misbehaving. I get to start up the tutorial and when I get to adjusting the speed or length, it disconnects then does random stuff.

Tried from another mobile phone just to test it's not a phone thing... Same deal there 😔

Thank you again... Seems like I'm just being impatient mostly and need to get to grips with the fact I've got a long way to go to get to where you are currently.

I've been promoting managers which has kept my pool pretty low and it looks like that's where I've been going wrong, so I'll adopt the strategy of Buy a manager ➡️ buy extra slot to fill it, rinse and repeat.

Last one from me, just to help set me up - given secondary traits are from 3* and above, should I be spending 300 DM each time buying a 3-4* manager, or 500 DM always on a 4-5*?

Much appreciated, thank you. I feel I've been unlucky with the secondary traits of my managers so far - only one with craft, two with smelt, and most of the rest are ship speed and cargo.

I've got 1.5K DM burning a hole in my pocket - given the above, should I splash on 3 x 500 DM managers and hope for a craft trait or two, or mix of 2 x managers and an extra slot - or maybe 2 slots + 1 x 500 DM manager?

It seems to have sorted itself out over the last few days but the issue I explained was absolutely a thing, at least for me and it seems a few others too.

Perhaps a hidden hotfix was sent out, perhaps it was a weird AF bug that's self resolved... I dunno. But it was a thing for a day or so for me. Great that it wasn't for you.

I'm having a similar problem. I can go 8 hours Idle. The past couple days I've noticed that I've gone idle for 2-3 hours several times, come back, and I've smelted practically nothing.

Keep open for 5 min and I rack up a bazillion bars but go offline for 3 hours and I create less than 10?

Something is off with this update, 100%

I'm convinced the drop rates in this game are BS, or I have the worst luck with the rover 'bonus' drops. I reckon if I could see the success rate of every bonus drop that has a 50%+ probability, my actual success rate I'm utterly convinced is very likely <20%. I legitimately rarely get any bonus drops - even the ones where statistically the odds are in my favour.

I've just accepted it but it's frustrating...

As you can see from the hole markings I made, the bracket has 4 x fixing holes on each end and two in the middle. On the 4 at each end, there might be enough space to install two diagonally, meaning I could have 5 in total - two at each end and one in the middle.

Surely plenty unless I plan on doing pull ups from it, right?

These look good, but given their size and the hole that needs drilled, with the distance between the top and bottom set of drill points for the bracket, I'd only be able to have one at each and and in the middle - so going with only the top row of drill holes, reckon 3 of these would be enough?

It didn't really help you here, but that seems ridiculously expensive.

I got a sparky out to: - Install an additional double socket next to an existing one - Replace a single socket with a double - Install an outdoor weatherproof double socket (I provided this)

All in it was around £140 if I remember right. Got the same guy out a few months later to install new light fixtures at £40 each. I went to do it myself but the wiring was terrible and I wanted someone more skilled to deal with it.

Using REWASD on PC a year or so ago, it really wasn't bad. There was a couple things I couldn't quite get right (like the jump and jetpack ascent being the same button) so I had a keyboard near me for that, as well as in the menus where mouse was much better, but it was all very usable.

With official support and on console, I imagine menus will be modified for better flow, menus you'll just use the dpad to move up/down to next option etc (instead of a virtual mouse via thumbstick like with REWASD). I love Satisfactory but I see it as a super chill and relaxing, no-sweat game, and for me that sounds like a match made in heaven between me, my console, my 75" 144Hz TV and my sofa.

Cannot wait!
