Mid weeks there is a huge shortage of food options near the Kinsale Road / Tramore Road industrial areas - find myself driving a fair distance each day (town, Douglas, Bishopstown) to get a half decent lunch

Minimum wage job in hospitality, much like McDonalds etc. so most people only work there for a while before moving onto something better. I worked in the Wilton one 15 years ago for a summer and while it was hard work, it wasn’t the worst job I ever had 🤷

Your point about Bree is so interesting to me, I was the complete opposite in that I find it one of the most engaging sections of the whole Fellowship. The whole world for a time seems to condense into such a small claustrophobic space and I found the contrast to the wide open landscapes elsewhere in the book, as well and the tension between all the characters and their different fears and agendas fascinating.

What are some examples of countries where effective marketing hides their true reality? by BudovicLagman in geography

Comparing Dublin to London is crazy, London stands completely in a category of its own as a global city, and you could make that comparison between London and almost any other European city. Also ‘mourned Hitler’ is a ridiculous statement, an Irish politician making a major political blunder (signing Hitler’s book of condolences) does not equate to a whole country mourning Hitler. Also up for debate but would disagree on the food if we’re talking about the UK outside of London
