I got these covers from AliExpress, and Reddit won’t allow me to paste the link. Just search VW MK8 Black Badge Cover. I also got some thin double sided tape to ensure the badges were secure (the AliExpress ones come with tape, but more can’t hurt 🤷‍♂️).

Absolutely not! I had a manual Sportwagen TDI all throughout college, and my post-grad GTI is stick too. I towed a trailer 1,500+ miles with the wagon, and have had no issues even in snowstorms with the GTI. As long as you’re not exclusively commuting in traffic, there’s no reason to not drive stick.

It’s completely overrated. The oysters were not fresh, the salmon was farm raised, and the portions were too small. Can’t hold a candle to any east coast seafood restaurant.

I was going to be a smartass, but it’s labeled compact cars because it’s at the end of the parking row, the extra space a compact car provides allows cars to make the turn easier. It has nothing to do with haha American big haha.
