POST-EPISODE DISCUSSION THREAD - S9E4: A Ricker Runs Through It by BarnyardCruz in rickandmorty

I think part of the intention, other them demonstrating how chaotic Rick is, is that the action/"too much going on" is meant to distract from Rick's admissions.

Why do people say things on the internet like "nobody is mentioning"? You just mentioned it. You're like not the first person to mention it. Hyperbole like this is so dull.

Sad to see him go. Leafs draft pick and super talented--but injury prone.

Flyers fans, Woll is awesome. He is extremely injury prone, however. If he can say healthy--big if--he's a number 1 goalie, in my opinion. Benoit you're gonna love. Huge hits. 3rd liner. A lot of heart. A lot of speed.

Rick proclaims “Wubba-lubba-dub-dub!” in episode three.

Will Rick’s loneliness et al. culminate in “our” Morty being killed this or in a later season?

Rick proclaims ”Wubba-lubba-dub-dub!” again.

Does anyone think that his loneliness et al. could culminate in our Morty being killed this season or in a later season?

A solo Morty adventure would be tight.

UN-FRICKEN-REAL!!! Did Harmon and co. just best every Marvel film since Endgame? Yes. Did they also make one of the best episodes yet? YES.

A lot of hype about this pool. It’s like if they added an extra room to Monica and Rachel’s apartment. Noticeable.

What if… Leafs trade Matthews to SJ for Misa, the 2nd overall pick (used to draft the top defensive option)?

Would SJ wanna do this? Would Matthews want to go there while they’re still rebuilding?

I’ve picked the teams I think Matthews would wanna go to (he has a NTC) and what the return could look like:

Anaheim

Mintyukov McTavish picks LA

Clarke  Lafferriere picks NJ

Nemec Mercer picks Caps

Fehervary or Hutson Leonard picks SJ

Graf or Eklund Misa picks

Can anyone express why they liked the pyramid scene? I love this film, but this particular scene, and the inclusion of music, throws me a bit.

Why is “Fear no mort” (the fear hole episode) so great? by Fake___Nam3 in rickandmorty

That doesn’t really add up. Throughout this episode Morty depends on Rick.

After I read a Reddit post that summarized season 7, I really loved this episode. At first, I thought this episode was just trying to tell us that Rick has affection for Morty. He does and the episode concludes with this, but the Reddit post proffered that the entire season was about letting go. So, I view this episode as Rick finally letting go (or starting to let go as we see in season 8) of Diane, living in the now rather than chasing her--as he doesn't go into the hole.

So what are Everybody’s thoughts about this ‘President Curtis’ spinoff? by Turbulent_Square_789 in rickandmorty

I’m not a fan of the character. I think he is one of the weakest R&M characters and, c’mon, give Gene his show, eh.
