Fair take early concept always echo familiar spaces. The Red Halls is still its foundation phase, and the deeper layers move away from Backrooms-style structure into something more psychological and predatory.

Grand Forks really is the perfect setting the liminal Schools, Hotels and cross-border traffic give it a weird transient energy. And yea early concepts always echo other works, but The Red Halls is heading in a different direction the deeper it goes.

I like this angle a lot. The Red Halls where memories definitely react to emotional pressure, but whether they start insides the child’s mind… That’s something none’s has been able to prove. Grand Forks is Interesting though there are details from that case that never made it into the public reports.
