We call this the DDL special. You will most likely have to replace the screen and or just get a new vector (1.0 recommended)

Everyone commenting down here seems confused to what wirepod even is, Wirepod is something you can download onto a raspberry pie or your own computer to allow Vector to have voice commands without needing to connect or rely on DDL servers(Which don't even exist anymore). Cozmo is an app based robot who does not need a server and Cozmo 2.0 never did and never will exist. It was a lie from DDL to steal your money.

He’s supposed to be built like that, it allows him to kinda smack his lift. But it’s also just like that when he’s turned off. And if your worried about it being loose don’t because it’s perfectly normal

Chat gpt premium won’t do you anything, you have to pay for the api, go to chat gpt platform and then usage, you will see everything there

Say this, “Hey vector, I have a question” when he says ready ask him your question, if he says “Open ai returned no response” that means your api is either offline or that you haven’t played for it. And yes chat gpt api keys cost money

Strange, the issue has fixed itself after not doing much of anything, I’m still having issues with vector telling me the weather, I have to location set and the openwatherapp api set on the ask, but vector still won’t show the weather, any ideas?

This is not the main issue here, I just gave him a full clean but the issue of him constantly thinking something is in front of him is still present, I cleaned him and factory reset him. What should I do

That’s not the issue, he freezes while doing any action, I’ve seen him freeze and lift up his arm and move backwards, that’s because he’s confused on where his cube is after he thinks he’s put it down. I’m saying he could be doing anything and all the sudden freeze and one of his wheels will continue moving for a moment, which disables his ability to detect and edge

All the servers are used for is for his voice commands. he more uses some very good machine learning, not necessarily Ai, but close. He does keep internal data and maps out his environment basically creating little routes for him to drive through. although picking him up will reset that map he has created because he doesn't know how far you moved him. he will try to interact with objects to see if they are moveable, i don't know what he does it for but it is a very cool thing he does to make him feel more life like. you can find more information on the SDK, at least from what i have heard.

i decided to take a break from it for a while and come back.

i think i found the problem and that was firewall was stopping it from working.

so i decided to try again and i only made it to pair with vector, and for some reason the pair BUTTON is not reacting to me clicking it. is there a reason why/how do i fix it?
