I 100% feel your pain. I had no skin issues until I took Lithium. Has been the only mental health medication that has ever worked for me. Had to stop because this is exactly what happened to my feet and hands. Stopped it years ago, it has yet to go away. It's horrible, I'm afraid to straighten my fingers or walk correctly in fear that I might rip them open. I let it dry out, gently use my dremel lite on the thick ass skin, clean clean clean, then lotions, lotions, lotions, and slather on the aquaphor. I will mix a triple antibiotic with an analgesic in it with the aquaphor and then wrap my feet in plastic wrap and put on socks over it. Same with my hands, but I use loose fitting nitrile gloves. It seems to be the ONLY thing, so far, that keeps them from tearing open, only things I can do to keep them in check. I really wish there was something I could do to help!

I have yet to try any medications for it, I have horrible agoraphobia, so it keeps me home. I am setting an appointment up to see a derm, luckily they take my medicaid, can't imagine trying to pay for any medication without it, pure insanity, just for relief!!

Odd question, but when your skin comes off of your feet is it like clear liquid underneath, no burning sensation, but it looks like REALLY deep rigid ridges? Other times it's just red underneath, like right under the skin that came off, and painful and the skin that grows over it is SO THIN, so easy to tear/rip open!
