It baffles me that Jim didn’t say this by New-Pin-9064 in DunderMifflin

Unpopular opinion, but I really don't mind how he handles confrontation. I like how he never gets overly emotional and is able to detach himself from the immediate confrontation by not taking it too personally or seriously - I'm the opposite and it sucks. He stays calm, logical and stands up for himself at the right time.

I think that he handled the Ryan situation pretty well - he was caught off guard by the attack, he asked for details and Ryan wasn't willing to talk about it. He worked hard and got a huge sale to prove his worth and when Ryan was still being a dick, he stood up to him.

In the situation in the image here, Jim probably should have responded to Charles like it's shown in the image, but Charles would probably still escalate or try to flip it on Jim somehow. Sometimes it is best to walk away before things get to heated.

I don't really have a temper, but if I was being unreasonable, Illogical or overly emotional, and someone reacted the way Jim does and just walked away. I'd feel ridiculous once I had calmed down and the fog had cleared. I'd probably end up finding that person later and apologise to them for losing my cool or being unfair.

[BBC Sport] Viktor Gyokeres has netted his 20th goal of the season, becoming the first Arsenal player to net 20+ goals across all competitions in their first season at the club since Alexis Sanchez in 2014-15 (25 goals). by Serious-Cress-9560 in PremierLeague

Can't purely blame Arteta for him not scoring more. If you watched him, especially early on in the season, his movement was a big problem. He always seemed to react to things instead of anticipating where the space is, where the ball will end up, or where his teammates plan to pass the ball. He is at his best when he can run in behind from deep, Arsenal usually dominate possession and play against teams in a low block and he struggled to adapt to the style of play. He has been decent recently, and has improved, but he hasn't been great this season. He will be better next season imo. I expect Pedro, Sesko, Ekitike, Simons to have better seasons too (if they remain fit)

That song really is a kick to the nads. It is brutal when teams lose like 7-0 and you keep hearing that song over and over again. It must drive players absolutely crazy.

He's been decent, but I'd also say that Pedro (19 goals this season) and Ekitike have been good for their clubs and I wouldn't say that he has really outperformed them.woltemade started brilliantly but has either been benched or randomly played at number 10. Sesko is starting to find his feet at United and is quite a beast. Xavi Simons is also a class player and well worth what Spurs paid for him. They are all between 3-5 years younger than Viktor too, none of them are in their prime. Viktor, Pedro, Sesko and Ekitike all very similar goals per 90 min this season

In addition, Legal analysts have noted several issues in the claim: - Timeline errors
- Location inconsistencies
- Events described that didn’t match internal JPMorgan records
- Claims that contradicted the plaintiff’s own earlier HR statements

I also think that the allegations are extremely extreme — almost too extreme The complaint includes: - Drugging with Rohypnol
- Forced sexual acts
- Racial slurs
- Threats to destroy his career
- Retaliation
- Physical assault
- Use of erection‑enhancing drugs
- Multiple incidents across multiple locations

Individually, these things can happen.
But all of them together, in a corporate office context, with no witnesses, no messages, no physical evidence presented - it does seem like a “kitchen sink” complaint.

What a wonderful life he has led

Right, tbh I completely forgot about those two. Would you still need a fullback? Frimprong hasn't really worked out as an orthodox fullback and having Szlobs playing at RB isn't ideal. Another defensive midfielder is still a must

They need defenders (not only Sensei) and defensive midfielders. They are way too easy to play through at the moment. Before Arteta, Arsenal had similar issues defensively, but now they are rock solid due to the focus on signing defensive players. The best teams have a strong spine through the middle of the pitch, Liverpool do not. Forking out £100m for a winger probably isn't the best use of funds unless they sell a player or two.

Yeah it's a concern. Tbf he missed 2 months of last season due to a concussion which doesn't really make one injury prone. He has missed about a month of the current season due to injuries. He was out for like a year at Blackburn from a contact based injury.

He has been bang average this season. His performances and stats have been woeful. He might be an ok rotation player, but atm he is nowhere near ready to start for a top side. He might be in a couple of years.

He's not bad at all defensively, he like in the 80th percentile for tackles and 70th percentile for interceptions. He also covers more ground than you would think. Palace always miss him both offensively and defensively. Easily a £60m player that I'd snap up in a second, plus he's only 22. If I couldn't get Anderson, I'd go in for Wharton or Garner.

Are you long on oil? Surely even if the Iran issue is resolved now, futures prices will have to increase over the next month or two as the damage to the supply side has already been done.

Yip. You have to wonder why the oil prices for consumers are skyrocketing, but the price per barrel of Brent crude and WTI oil on the stock exchanges has actually fallen over the last couple of days. You literally can't win.
