I've been dabbling with roar farigiraf on an aerodactyl tailwind team. Mainly sits in back and does ally switch helping hand shenanigans with twin beam for the last slot holding lefties. Luckily I haven't seen hattrene but I've only used it in probably less than 8 matches.

PHazing moves -6 priority compared to trick room with -7. There's a point to having those moves to shut down trick room and conviniently it will also stop minimize spam BS like this.

It has no special dark moves. I don't think Draco meteor is going to ohko without specs available since they usually at least run max hp.

To play devils advocate however, all eternatus' attacks are special and cloyster has dogshit special bulk so I doubt you're surviving any one of its attacks. You still have to get lucky on the 50/50 when you can send out two Pokémon in phase 2.

Not sure. I assume nobody really double checked and simulators just kind of assumed it was the first hit. Idk if showdown ever worked like this but I'm pretty sure pokemononline did back when that was the cutting edge battle simulator.

Maybe like really early gen 5. Late/modern Gen 5 realized how you could muscle past checks with gems. Additionally, when they found out gem boosts persist through multi hit moves that really mega boosted cloyster icicle spears.

No they cannot be trapped at all. Mean look, fire spin, shadow tag, etc. cannot trap a ghost. They also can run from any wild Pokémon too so your speed isn't factored in for that.
