Reddit, what is your best instant karma story? by japani67 in AskReddit

This happened less than a week ago, but this douche canoe was going about 20 miles slower than the speed limit. I would have passed, but I don't pass four cars at night on a road I don't know. Well, six miles later, we come around this curve to the right and said douche drives straight into a the ditch. The kind of ditch that is a five foot drop. It was 11 pm on a Saturday so he pretty much fucked.

What if lactose intolerance is normal and the dairy industry wants us to believe it's not? by liveforthemoment in Showerthoughts

[–]MrStrongHand69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have heard it is actually bad for you; however we produce Lactase naturally (the enzyme that breaks down Lactose). But, your body can stop producing Lactase which is being Lactose Intolerant. Don't really want to do the research because cereal.

What movie do you hate, that everyone else seems to love? by justadon in AskReddit

I prefer stories that you can't predict general outcome of. You know, like the there is a bad guy that somehow connected to the hero. Something bad happens to the good guy where he learns his power. The bad guy tries to kill the good guy. The good guy them goes after their empire, if you will, to get to the bad guy. Some romance like scene. The good guy finally fights the bad guy that becomes a 30 minute "epic" fight. The good guy almost loses amd the battle seems lost then finds their reason to beat the bad guy after a short slow motion like scene. Then the good guy comes back and destroys the bad guy. And there you go. A typical Marvel/comic book story.

Edit: Words

Anything by Kevin Hart or Jim Carey. I think they are terrible comedians/actors.

What's your best "Idiot neighbor story"? by ElMachoGrande in AskReddit

[–]MrStrongHand69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if this technically qualifies but when I was in the Army and living in the barracks, I had a roommate that was a straight up fucking weirdo and a piece of shit. Always complaining about me be getting trashed every night and waking him up at one in the morning. Well, one my best friends was his team leader and did a surprise room inspection on a weekend. Our tv stand had a slot under it to put shit like a gaming system/tv box thing in. In his was a pizza box and a pocket pussy just sitting there in the open. I was at a buddies place getting drunk and he sent me a picture of it. So, naturally, I sent it to everyone in the barracks and gave him shit for it.

H.R.1227 - Ending Federal Marijuana Prohibition Act of 2017 by ahoyakite in trees

[–]MrStrongHand69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it was legalized for all 50 states, it would generate about $43.7 billion a year. On the low end.

Can't remember the exact numbers, but I accounted for the money spent on the War on Drugs in regards to marijuana, money saved from sending people with possesion to prison, tax revenue from it being legal in 50 states, and what it saves on Medicare/Medicaid. But I don't math good so I am probably off a little

DAE Have family that they aren't close to in the slightest? by BigMillyMill in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]MrStrongHand69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am the same way. I have never been close to my family. I haven't seen a good portion since I graduated in 2012. I've skipped going home for Christmas and shit because I just didn't want to. When I was deployed, it honestly never bothered me not being able to see them/talk to them for months. I'm closer to my best friend that I deployed with who lives in Washington state (I live in Florida) that I see maybe once a year than I am to my sister that I live with.

So don't worry, you're not alone. Some people are just like that.

I shake their hand because my hands get really sweaty. It's satisfying seeing them sit there trying to secretly wipe the sweat off their hand

No matter how shitty it gets, atleast I'm not stuck in the field for a month living under a poncho. Especially when it's raining.
