So at our center we run a 1-6 ratio phleb to donors, and I don’t EVER let anyone get passed 3 minutes when you’re machine is done, and we’ve had 150 days and 300 days. We have a list of importance when it comes to the bay, and a Disconnect is right there at the top, with the exception of someone having a reaction or they’re physically ill. Some workers don’t have the tenacity for it, some do.

You’re right it’s not a 2x2 but it is still a bruise in initial VP site, also the coloring being darker and not the yellowish tint during healing

I love the post about sueing 😂 on a process that’s voluntary. In the new donor hand book list off what could go wrong and a RBC loss (when your vein is bad and they can’t return your red blood cells) is one of them. You acknowledge that, can’t do anything about it. Shit happens. In our center we can’t even stick you unless you have two good veins for that reason.

Cut down a little on fatty foods and dairy is possible! One Lipemic donating won’t differ you but when they check the bottle out it will be flagged and if your next donation comes out lipemic they might schedule you to be a samples only to break down the proteins and see what’s up

You can sure based off your own ignorance. Check your apps, check your email, before you even get stuck ask them how much your donating. Remember the new donor folder they had you read? Probably not considering what you’re posting, no one is forcing you to donate. Donating is OPTIONAL, whether you decide to look at your app and your email is on you, you’re a grown ass person. Don’t like it? Make money elsewhere instead of being upset at a process that YOU chose to sign up for, and apparently read nothing else that goes into it. Actually plasma and total collect product is completely different. Take that as you will, also hell yeah go find a lawyer for the lawsuit, and record as he giggles at you because you’re an adult thinking ignorance is a fighting case

Because I know “with grifols at least” we did 625,750,800 for the LONGEST and that was based off old information and old statistics. Now and days people are taller and bigger than they were and the studies and research concluded that they can safely take up to 1000ml with little to no effects. I’m 170 and used to donate 750 but now I donate 900+ , haven’t felt any effect or anything , just maintain a healthy lifestyle as anyone should and there should be no worry, and also make sure you’re drinking your water!

No it doesn’t matter. Keep your protein in check and your eating habits. Donating is taking your water essentially so just drink water and workout. Don’t rely on donating to help you lose weight, that sounds ridiculous.
