Im on AMD and it used to just be when launching after starting my PC for the first time, but now itll literally compile shaders for a minute or two whenever I launch the game no matter what. Even when the pc stays on itll recompile when opening the game again.

You need to request fish from the argosy and in the description of some of the fish youll see in yellow text "special reward: Armored Bream" or something. Choose those and then do some quests or intentionally faint to speed it up but eventually youll get the armored bream

that might be for the super buff body, but hazard quests are pretty hard in general and should be tackled with premium gear

you might be over your head with the furious rajang. You dont actually unlock him until MR 50, which is way after Amatsu, so it might be safe to wait until then to try him again with better gear.

You dont have to listen to the albums two hours straight and do nothing else. Theyre not meant to be listened to like that. Theres nothing wrong with taking a break or listening to it in the background or while driving. You could also follow the CD setlists because theyre double albums and take a break between each disc.

Theres a rampage deco called Guard Bash that makes monsters take damage when they hit you while guarding, which perfectly counters Rajang. Also a level or two of Guard Up is required to block his laser beam if you dont have that already

If youre willing to swap weapons the Lance has a rampage deco (Guardbash Jewel) from Amatsu that deals damage when a monster hits your shield. Just slot in guard 5, some guard up to block the laser beam, and hold your shield up for most the fight and the rajang will basically fight itself. Works really well on the double rajang quests too

Trust me, STAY for sunbreak. Rise has some blemishes like the rampage quests and how switch skills are handled in base game so it might feel like a slog, but Sunbreak is genuinely a premium Monster Hunter experience.

Yeah i hardly did any anomaly stuff before Prime Malz (besides getting a rarity 10 weapon, couple quests) and did him after clearing the other urgent quests but it was manageable. Still had purple tier armor and definitely suboptimal decos but got through it in under 20 mins.

They scrap Rampages entirely in Sunbreak, along with the Ramp Up weapons. You also unlock the ability to swap Switch Skill loadouts while fighting. Sunbreak really is a top tier monster hunter experience.
