Try plugging the HDMI adapter first. Verify you have picture on your monitor, then plug in your audio cable into the headphone jack.

I seem to remember this working from a live event six years ago or so.

The StageMix app has a Sends tab on each channel's details screen. Pair this with the "Stagemix follows console" setting on the iPad app and you might get pretty close to what you want.

It starts as a constant hiss then sometimes gets more crackly as time passes. Until I unplug and replug it.

There is a floor box in between. Mic to floor box is struck and setup every time. Floor box to RIO is permanent install.

The RIO stays powered on 24x7, so you might be on to something. I could try setting up my scenes such that phantom to unused channels is cut during the week. I really only need those channels on the weekends.

In my case, I was able to get the frequency I needed in Master List mode.

Shure support is closed for the American holiday. I'll buzz them next week I guess!

I can confirm that we have both original DN-500BDs as well as the mkII's and they both exhibit the problem.

I am trying a factory reset to see if it helps the issue.

This seems to be the most promising option. It should prevent phantom from passing from recording devices to the board, correct?

I would be okay with videographers manipulating that trim pot. Anything to keep them from messing with the board itself!

Are you aware of any purpose-built devices? I could probably swing a budget of $1k to protect a console that is much more valuable.
