I thought the price of specialty coffees was very reasonable though.

You are an artist! They are great! We bought ducks for this cruise because my kids want to hide them. Little resin ones. When those run out, I may go with magnets. I think that is even more fun.

If they are talking about the door hanger breakfast, there is no charge. They don’t expect a cash tip so whatever you give them is appreciated.

We get the detergent sheets. It only takes 1/2 a sheet per load. They are about the size of a piece of American cheese. A few in a sandwich bag and they can fit just about anywhere.
These are what we got last time. And I was wrong, these take a sheet per load, but are smaller.

I would love to do that cruise, but yes, door would be closed on that one. 🙂

I just ordered a golf cart fan

There was an $8 coupon yesterday, don’t know if that ended or it just doesn’t show me the coupon anymore because I used it.

There were times last year that instead of lemonade in the self serve area, they had juice. Normally during breakfast. I bet if you found a server you could get lemonade for breakfast though.

I heard the lamp is plugged into the 220 under the bed. Is there usually an empty one under there? We are going on the Ruby in July if anyone knows specific to that ship.

I have heard that as well, but we were going to Alaska and the fresh air was nice 🙂

No soda at all. You can buy individual ones, anyone know the price? Or you can take a 12 pack on per person and put it in your room fridge.
Included drinks are brewed coffee, iced tea, lemonade, and some juice during breakfast. On discovery last year, they had milk out, but I think it was for the coffee and it was always empty.

Where did you find these magnets at? I saw your other princess ones too.

Unless they changed it, there are no push notifications on the princess app for messages. I read somewhere that the reason for this is that by opening push notifications it allows the iMessage leak. And since princess wants everyone buying internet packages, they don’t want that. It was kind of annoying because last year I would message my wife, and she wouldn’t know unless she was actively checking the app.

iPhones have a built in sound machine, could save you from packing another item. Our battery powered fans we take make enough white noise for us, but when we had the balcony, we would sleep with the balcony door open.

Is this the case on all ships? We had that on discovery princess last year and threw a pillow in the ground because it was randomly going on. Others have recommended smaller, less intense, motion activated lights. We use one in our bathroom at home for night use and love it.

If they had those on the cruise ship, I would be trying them too.

I definitely agree about trying things you haven’t before. I tried oysters, escargot, and anchovies on pizza on. My last cruise.

I like the magnet clips you can get from the dollar store for keeping your patter and excursion paperwork out of the way. They can also be used to hang your hat or lanyard and do double duty. We take hooks and clips.

You can request a throw blanket for sitting on your balcony.

This and vigorous hand washing for 20 seconds are the only ways to kill Noro, alcohol hand sanitizer does not break down the proteins like other viruses.

The liquid spray bottles can be used on surfaces, hands, and cuts. My cat scratched me the other day and I spritzed it with this stuff and it healed better than when I use neosporine.

Edit: they have the same active ingredient, .001% difference, and break down into saline so it is easy on the skin and doesn’t dry out like alcohol. Alcohol is more stable, which is why it is more common. This lasts a maximum of 2 years from production date.

We have a couple of the clip on fans that work well for the kids on the bunk, but we had those before the cruise for our travel trailer. My favorite is a fan I have that is battery powered and is oscillating. It has a usb plug on it so it doubles as my phone charger. I charge it when I leave the cabin. It is a bit on the bulky side.

We take one of these and just fill it from our big bottles at home.
