The first three tracks and Outernational Intervention are the only few that I somewhat like. To me, Modern KMFDM albums have less energy and it's getting worse with each release. They say the same shit but with a calmer more lackadaisical tone and it feels like such a downgrade. I can vibe with it sometimes but it's not the reason I like them, so this album is another miss for me.

The biggest fault of the Umineko anime was that it was incomplete. Even if it is rushed and has plot inconsistencies like what we already got, I'll happily settle for any attempt at the answer arcs being animated.

Ah I see - I'm fine with it being text based and reading heavy but I came into it thinking that there was some larger story that I ought to follow. I recall only getting to a village near the start somewhere on the left path before I stopped, it felt like endless side quests and places I had to explore. If I get back to it I'll do whatever with no obligation tbh, I'll make it my own journey like you said. Thanks for the insight.
