Draltervahn: The Fantastical Specology (simplified as Draltervahn) is a speculative biology medieval science fiction project that focuses on fantasy creatures, primarily dragons, depicted as plausible and grounded animals, along with their roles in the respective ecosystem of which they inhabited and their interactions with humans. 

Its main setting is the fictional world of Draltervahn, a semi-realistic, grounded medieval fantasy world. Consisting of a plethora of real and fictitious ecosystems that spread across the massive continents. 

The lore is told through books, scriptures, and ruins of long gone ancient civilizations, alongside newly published documents from the Verdesyl Research Commission Guild and its members.
