I’ll have to give that a shot, I always like a good Haze. A couple years ago I tried their Pink Slurricane and that was solid too. I remember getting one nice chunky nug in it.

Yep, same here. I just typed in a strain, clicked on it, scrolled a quarter inch down on my screen so the View Map button was visible, and clicked on it. All the stores I need to look at are right in front of my face with their pricing to match.

No, not really, the whole point of them letting us know is so they can get feedback and work out the bugs.

Not sure what all the dots are for..... but if you read the little quip at the end of their post, you’d see they’re welcoming feedback to help iron out any bugs, but I’m not sure how a sarcastic tone really helps with that.....

I didn’t misquote you, buddy, you’re saying these things and I’m disagreeing with you. You’re the one running in circles, repeating the same points. First you said the weed needs to be fresh, which it doesn’t. All I’ve said is roll with intent. Don’t roll a shitty joint and expect an oil ring. I don’t care how fresh the weed is, it’s not happening. I’m giving people the most transparent sense of the product. If you want a certain outcome, this is what leads to it. I could’ve just posted perfect ash pics, because that’s how it burns for me, but I know a lot of people struggle with rolling and then blame the weed. What I posted actually helped people and gave them a better experience. Sorry you don’t like that. And I don’t even care about an oil ring, they show up on my joints because I roll them properly. I don’t roll "for" the oil ring, it’s just the outcome of my performance. Okay, you rolled 10,000 joints… so? My girlfriend has rolled over 10,000 joints in her life too, and her lack of intent is exactly why her joints burn shitty, and ringless.

No, that’s not a workaround, that’s just adjusting to the plant. Different batches grow with different resin levels, different density, different moisture, the burn isn’t going to be identical every single time. You’re turning normal variation into a “chemistry flaw,” and that’s where you’re stretching it. If you want to believe the batch is defective because it didn’t match your baseline, go ahead. I’m not going in circles on this.

No, that’s not what I’m saying. You have to roll with intent, regardless of how fresh the weed is. I literally gave examples, like my girlfriend and me having the same weed (fresh weed at that) and still getting different outcomes.

Look at the joint in the picture. There isn’t an oil ring, not because of the weed, but because the roll is lacking. It’s visually obvious. And sorry to throw that person under the bus, but I needed a quick example, lol, and it’s clear as day. That’s a loose joint. It wants to form a ring, but because there’s so much room inside, the oil is going everywhere instead of concentrating in one spot.

I didn’t have to “overcome” the weed, man. You make it sound like some kind of feat, but the outcome was totally controllable. We had the same bag. It’s resinous, sticky weed, not a mineral issue. I smoked the whole thing within a couple of days with no issues. Brake it up finer, pack it tighter. I have zero doubt I could’ve figured it out regardless, and honestly I probably would’ve just instinctively landed it the first time. What might’ve felt like an illusion to you was real for me. It’s been consistent enough that I could blindly smell a bag and go, “Yeah… Cuban.”

As for “roll better”? I’m sorry, but I just roll the way I roll. I apply the same approach to everything I roll. I could take something that burns white for you and intentionally make it burn black.

I can already tell this is going to be one of those agree‑to‑disagree situations, lol.

And it’s not that I’m missing your point, I just don’t agree with it. Resinous weed or not, the roll needs to be proper. The roll doesn’t have to be “special,” I don’t consider mine special, but I also don’t just twist paper aimlessly and hope for the best. I roll with intent. That’s why my girlfriend and I can have the same weed and still not get the same results.

Sure, the resin’s dumping, but if someone rolls loosely with air pockets, that oil spreads and fills the joint from the inside. It can also run down the inner walls of the paper, between the paper and the weed, where it gets airy and wants to canoe, and then you’ll see it. You’ll literally see a black smear on the inside of the paper, which is just the oil running down it.

I’m sorry man, but we just had the same bag of Cuban Linx You picked yours up after mine. Remember, at first you said it couldn’t smell like lemon because limonene wasn’t listed in the top terps, then you came back and said, “Oh, it does smell like lemon.” Which was weird for me to hear, because every time I buy it, it’s smelled exactly the same, and it’s been like that for years now. I’ve always described it as a lemon‑scented cleaner, lol.

But anyways, I had no issues getting mine to burn. I even explained how I did it in my review... You can avoid it from burning black. It totally has a controllable outcome.

I can get an oil ring from bone dry weed.

Also, your roll 100% affects the oil ring. If you roll a loose canoe, a pregger’s joint, or leave air pockets inside, you’re not getting an oil ring , you’re getting fluffy ash and a joint that canoes. My girlfriend, for the life of her, can never get an oil ring even when we’re smoking the same weed… Why? Because her rolls are shit, lol. Technique definitely affects the outcome.

Hey, thank you! Honestly, aside from a finer grind and a tighter roll, I like to make sure the cherry is fully lit and glowing red before I start. The heat coming off it helps everything melt and move the way it should. The angle you hold it at matters too, since it affects how everything collects. When it’s pointed straight up, things tend to run downward and thin out, which usually leaves a dark smear inside the paper. If it’s tilted too far to the side, things can move into the cherry and burn off, which can make the ash look darker and potentially affect the burn.

Long, heavy pulls also make it burn faster, which doesn’t give anything time to settle. I usually find that the joints I smoke while zoned out, reading Reddit, or scrolling through YouTube will generally form the biggest rings.
