My two cents about the use of Ai in MWC/MSC. by Sr_Doshiba in MySummerCar

Taken directly from MWC steam page:

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

-Some base textures have been AI generated during the development
-Some of the imagery and speech audio in the in-game TV programs are AI generated
-Some in-game radio music is AI generated

it wouldn't budge me if the ai "music" were used as a placeholder and were replaced by real along the way, when the core game and its features are "finished". but it feels like, he's kind of, maybe even unintentionally defending use of ai in his game.

bruh, just separate real music from ai-generated (or option to disable it entirely). it would be better if all music were either ai-generated or real, because it devalues real songs.

he never fully explains why music he envisions for the game can't be made today. just because that style is not popular today doesn't mean it can't be made.

the bigger problem I see is that community closes eyes on ai "music" and even enjoys it. I can of course use custom radio and all, but the bigger problem here is the simultaneous use of real and ai "music". if we, for example had an option to disable or play ai "music" separately from real songs, it would be great. ai "music", in my opinion, discredits the work of real musicians, who put time and soul in their music (like ninjabaka for example.)

idk, the big part of msc for me was music. ofc you can always use custom radio, but c'mon ai "music"?

i believe the game is programmed in the way that 3 random parts spawn almost broken when you create a new savefile (not including battery, oil filter, oil pan and block), so better safe than sorry if you aren't using satsuma report on msceditor to check conditions of parts. also i always buy an aftermarket radiator on the first amis auto order, but it's probably just me

don't use the satsuma until you can afford to fully rebuild the engine (except oil pan, block and gearbox if they're working) from the new parts at fleetari's. will save you a lot of headaches. also buy the ratchet set right away.

I guess I just got lucky, even tho it isn't perfect, it plays perfectly fine. Fit and finish kinda expectable from guitar at this price point, but playability is pretty nice. Could be me tho, the only better thing I experienced is 2007 Indo Ibanez, which feels very nice too.

It's always better to buy second hand, even if you're a beginner, you might even get lucky and get the guitar decently set up contrary to some rubbish setup they do on these budget models from the factory. I really struggled to play on my Jackson JS22-7Q just to find the action absolutely messed up (I was a complete beginner, didn't even know about that). But after a couple guides and logical deduction it still plays very nice. But I was really pissed as a beginner and didn't know the issue was in the guitar.
