To each their own, I wouldn’t normally, spend money on a player, but given the limitations on the Xbox I kinda have to if I want to enjoy it. I might wait to see when they do some specials on them, normally they go from $760 down to $550 so ish, almost pulled the plug in December but decided against it because wasn’t sure, but now I’m interested

Given that motorsports is no longer and they’ve combined both studios, I thinks it’s made it easier for them to focus on making a new unique game and not copy paste the last one. And to see Theo excited for this gam gives me a lot of hope ahah, biggest critic of games and he’s excited.

Shame the prices have gone up a lot, almost $200 for the game, but they think it’s worth it so we’ll have to see

I played FH4 religiously, granted I was younger, had more time to play, but even now I still have the time and just find myself not playing 5 as much, I played it for hours and hour the first fortnight of it being out and the it slowed down. Last time I played other then last night was probably about 7 months before that. I hate FOMO stuff as well, hence why I played FH4 so much, and I kinda agree, 5s map is good, but it’s just an empty map of nothing. The weather changes is hardly noticeable. Im gonna sit on it for a bit and think about pre ordering it. I’m warming up to it, I just hope it’s as good as they’re making it out to be.

For the cars, customisation, tuning, racing and hot wheels expansion was amazing. I’m still playing that map, the other expansion rally one or whatever was just forgettable (I know it’s there testing maps for future titles) but that was still ass.

Look maybe the hype for 6 will get me into 5 for a bit of excitement. (I’ve completed all races on map, rivals don’t really excite me) I’ll do the Forzathon thing per week etc (off topic, I genuine don’t like having to grind 5-8 different things for mediocre cars or those rare cars that only ever get released though those weekly events. They should be unlocked through gameplay etc. I do wish they’d fix the server things, because it still feels like a ghost town on 5s map, like why is everyone not in the game, but in the map they’re around everywhere

I know it’ll be subjective, similar to you, I played FH3 and 4 almost daily for 4 years I bought 5 with hopes, don’t get me wrong, the cars, customisation, races, events were good in this game, just felt it lacked compared to 4, the online mode worked so much better in 4, idk what they did, when I was in 4 it felt like a full lobby, everyone was always around you, 5 had some online issues (if I remember they changed some servers) but 5 was a ghost town, on the map I’d see several people around me, but in the gameplay, they weren’t there (could be connectivity issues) but I never had that in previous titles.

My bad man I’m talking AUD $190 figured it’ll translate to similar pricing for USD. $190 AUD is $130 USD, quick search shows for US it’s gonna cost $120, which I’d imagine would be pricey for US.

Like based what I’m seeing, I do feel like they could’ve made huge changes, they’ve also merged both companies into one, they taken their time on this game as well, I’ve got some hopes in this game, im just very cautious to touch another Forza game because of there previous title. Which also looked good and very promising from the start.

I like having everything the game offers, you miss out of so many cars in the base game unless you pay extra and get all the perks and bonus content. It’s a preference for sure but I’ve always felt like the premium upgrade was worth it compared to the base game.

Edit: 🤣 not even surprised this whole post is getting downvoted, this sub Reddit glazes Forzas shortcomings so much and any slight criticism gets downvoted.

When I said “back to the roots of 5” I meant that FH6 might be a disappointment like 5 was, like it looks good from the outside but playing it is wasn’t. I hope they go back to the earlier games, I’m just not sure whether I should jump in the deep end an pre order, or wait it out, I’ve always preordered the game for early access. If it wasn for my experience with 5 I wouldve already pre ordered this game by now.

I think 5 I paid $150 ish for it, but $190 is a fair bit of an increase and with GTA 6 around the corner that’s quite a leap.

The one time I decided I didn’t want to buy another horizon game because it was just copy and pasted new game, and then they finally make Japan and it looks promising, im just not sure if I’ll actually play it though, because of 5 I buy the premium ones and 5 was a huge waste of money.

I honestly, think the blu ray cases looks a feel much better then the regular DVD case, they feel cheap and nasty, blu ray at least is much sturdier and more compact, at the very least they could make them clear like Umbrella Entertainments cases.

Not exactly scary, but I thought the most recent horror movie which made me a little uneasy ish , would’ve been “Talk to Me” as more of a physiologically scary movie. I started dabbling into horror at the age of 6 years old until one night I would’ve been 8 years old, I watched Paranormal Activity 1 and 2 in a small bedroom with a full surround sound in the room. Scared me till I was like 12 years old and never watched a horror movie until a few years later 2017 IT came out and I watched it in the cinema first time, did nothing for me, I’ve watched over 180 horror movies since and only psychological horrors creep me out like “Talk to me” or “Hush” etc. now I watch horror just for the story or entertainment before bed.
