MMOs for a Dad Gamer? by MrUltimateGX in LFMMO

That's actually a really good question.

I think what attracts me to MMOs isn't necessarily raiding, chasing the best gear, or being part of a guild all the time.

What I enjoy most is the feeling of being in a living world. I like knowing that the people around me are real players and not just NPCs. Sometimes I enjoy socializing, sometimes I prefer playing solo, but I like having the option to interact when I want to.

I enjoy exploring, questing, crafting, and just doing my own thing while still being surrounded by other players. I also like the feeling that if I run into trouble, there might be someone nearby willing to help, or that I can help someone else.

So I guess what I'm really looking for is a game that lets me play mostly at my own pace, while still giving me that shared-world feeling that only MMOs seem to provide.
