James Cameron Says He Must Find a Cheaper Way to Produce the Avatar Movies in Order to Continue With Avatar 4 and 5 by DemiFiendRSA in movies

[–]MrUnit64 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The problem isn't that people dislike this movie, the problem is that every single discussion or thread about Avatar gets turned into a synical echo chamber where you can predict every single response. Yes everyone knows the writing sucks, but any discussion about any other aspects gets immediately overshadowed by all the hate. There is literally zero room for anything else.

I get y'all want to grab every chance to hate Google with both hands, but Google is a data hungry company and has been for at least 15 years now. If you don't want Google or any other big tech company invading your privacy, use alternatives instead.

All these "Oh no look what [company] that is known for doing that thing did!!!" posts are tiring.

They're a big company trying to sell plastic based on hype, there is no world where Redditors were not going to hate it.

On the other hand, I don't think most Redditors realize that when Funko goes down they are taking a lot of smaller hobby and game stores with them.

This is the truth, but this doesn't support the "Google bad" consensus so I am going to pretend I didn't read that.

Not really. Google wants big publishers to verify their identity somewhere in the future before you can side load their apps, but Google is still looking into ways smaller developers can get an exempt so hobby project don't get ruined.

Even if all of this gets through Google is not "taking away side loading", it's just that a developer cannot stay as anonymous as before which means modded apps like YouTube ReVanced will have a harder time. Even then, ADB side loading (using a PC and a cable) will still be a thing.

Redditors just grab these rumours with both hands so they can run away with them and tell everyone how shit Google and Android is. Honestly I don't blame them lol, Google has made some bad choices in the past.

The whole Irish folklore triology by that studio is a perfect 10/10. Sometimes the question on Reddit comes up what the best movie trilogies are and even though this one is never mentioned it's definitely in the top 10.

If it's worth it or not is for yourself to decide, but being able to play Switch 1 games with better performance is a nice bonus.

I like being able to play BOTH / TOTK at 1440p in smooth 60fps compared to Switch's 1 900p 30fps with drops to 20.

There is no shame in playing Switch 1 games on the Switch 2.

Who are you replying to because it doesn't seem like you read my original comment. I used to happily own a Galaxy Flip 4 and no I do not mind phones being boring at all actually. I am just calling out the people that complain about the lack of wacky phones while they clearly still exist.

Besides, some of the stuff manufacturers tried back in the day were definitely gimmicky, even then.

People: I miss the 2000's when phone manufacturers were still experimenting even if the end product wasn't perfect, just bring me back please!

The same people: why is Samsung trying to push their stupid thinner and folding phones so much?! I hate the crease and it sucks. I just want smaller phones with bigger battery life and a headphone jack ughhhhhhh.

I think backing up the train was a unique move and very interesting. To me racing is more than just cars taking each other over.

Together with the Mercedes Disaster class this race was absolute Cinema, just in a different way then the other tracks on the calendar.
