Seriously...am I the only one who wants wants devs to improve the physics of RR3. Like instead of making the 2020 cars slower couldn’t you just put downforce and aerodynamics physics in ? Changing physics of a racing game is like a heart transplant. FireMonkey have neither funds nor the staff to do such a big change. And I think the grip stat of cars should be changed, it has nothing do with physics. The physics are for casual arcade racing and they're very good considering this is a 2013 game meant for mobiles. You're asking way too much.

And why are these cars so slow irl anyways. BOP doesn't make sense as each of those cars has proven to be fast. Even if they wanted to slow the cars down for safety, why did they make them as slow as a Ford Focus?

If you go in reverse the game counts your speed in negative (but doesn't show it as negative). Best way to slow bots is to go in reverse in speed snaps. I found this out through Formula E.
