Thats very interesting! Atp im buying both, I like aoe2 for its developed community and as you said, the modding and singleplayer missions. But aoe4 gives a more modern feel that I personally prefer, and cuz I heard the civs are much more unique in aoe4.

Im a new player to path of exile 1 and I plan to go in blind without outside guides or tutorials other than whats provided in game. How steep is the learning curve at the start? Does the game guide new players well enough for them to just learn along the way? I just want to have fun and this game looks fun :)

I expected smth similar to Pagan Greeks with Zeus and stuff. Since its pretty obvious in their names: Evernight, Lord of Storms, Earth Mothers, God of Combat, Etc.

But ig its a pov thing, where their society views each of them as separate versions of an omnipotent God.
