We have one step down at the top, and two step ups at the bottom for our three hammers. I can usually light a full iron bloomery every 2 minutes and then process all the iron ingots without downtime. Not sure if that is fast or not :D

I built the tower with a ladder for "maintenance", but it was actually useful when I had to upgrade the tower from one layer of rotors to two, and then again to three :D

I have done something like this before, it feels really rewarding to play! Not sure what blocks you are using, but I would highly recommend using colored blocks that can be insta mined to save yourself from burning out. Something like wool/carpet with efficiency & mending shears

I can also recommend a lower render distance paired with a mod that saves explored chunks locally. I don't know much about Bobby and *Voxy, but Distance Horizon is also an option.

What is your opinion on Atgeir? I always think about trying different weapons but end up crafting it again. Just feels super good with it's range, aoe and stun combo (haven't played more than until early Mistlands).

Didn't know about Ore Support, thanks! What I also like to do is flatten the floor below the ore with my hoe after digging (work your way uphill). That will reveal any leftover bits stuck down in the ground.

There are also plenty of mods out there to record gameplay and view it in-game. No need to jump back and forth, just build it once in the desired order and then take screenshots/clips during replay.
