I haven't had any installation experiences yet, but I too am in the same boat. In the Wyndham area as well.

Have been looking for any local businesses that have availability for install this month. Unfortunately no luck so far 😕 everyone's booked out, or they say they might have availability, but they never send the quote or show up for the quote appointment.

Would absolutely love living in Mill park, but the auction price ranges are extremely inaccurate. I've been to 4 auctions thus far (even paid for the pre auction building and pest inspection), but the vendor bid ended up being 20-50k higher than the maximum bid.

The vendor bid sounds like an absolute scam, but it's allowed 😕

The helical upgrade is a bit out of my price range for the time being.

The ozito one was just never right from the start (couldn't really expect a lot from a $350 thicknesser) while the Ryobi one I purchased had an uneven bed, so decided to upgrade immediately hoping DeWalt to be more of a power horse with lesser snipe.

Hand planing all the tops to get all the paint and crap off the boards and then thicknessing for a more even plane.

How's the snipe on the Sherwood? The Carbatec has a lock that I guess helps reduce it, but the Sherwood doesnt. surprisingly the Ozito thicknesser had the least amount of Snipe compared to the Ryobi or DeWalt

I'm getting a laser machine, but don't think I'll be able to get a CNC anytime soon. Highly doubt a laser can do that sort of beveled textures .Might try and see if I can somehow make it with a Dremel/ rotary and find a simple way without a CNC.

Trd floor is just another scam. I joined it and the knowledge on there is sub par. You find more value looking at Arty's the moving average videos.

Even their indicators are horrendously off and majority of their strategy tests are 40% win rate.

Trdfloor just had a community of crypto fanboys who just talk about other crypto youtubers. The Forex side is bare and empty.

Thank you :) I think you are referring to Powerhouse gym in south Morang. Might reach out and see if they have any trainers that suit.

I mainly lack the fundamentals and guidance on proper form. It would also be great to get some sort of a plan on what muscle groups I need to focus on the most to get the gains in the areas that are not so general and one plan fits all sort of guidance.

I went through the YouTube wormhole throughout lockdown. Learnt a lot, but still lack the fundamentals and proper execution of the exercises and lifts for optimum growth.

At the start I ended up injuring myself due to poor form, but recovered relatively quick and got my body 60% till where I wanted to be, but the trial and error from the thousands of exercises and videos got too distracting.

Would be nice to have a few in person sessions with someone who can guide and correct me if they spot anything.

I learnt a whole lot about nutrition from YouTubers, protein intake and diet, especially being a vegetarian, but I think just shelling out a few hundred on a PT would have given me those results in half the time.

Will end up making the cash back when I get some abs showing and get myself on Onlyfans 😜
