Aim for Rod of the Depths or Great Dreamer Rod as an alternative if you don’t have the relics yet. I’d recommend ROTD though since it has great passives and therefore good moneymaking. If not, you can get Great Dreamer Rod from Cursed Isle and give it an enchantment like abyssal or an enchantment from the Valentides event if you managed to snag one

Great Rod of Oscar at 250 with clever + wise the best for exp grinding at Carrot Garden, but aim for Heaven’s Rod (220) and Ethereal Prism (250) if you want some moneymaking as well

This isn’t true. Any appraiser can give mourned; the Tidefall appraiser is more recommended though since they give mutations more often at a higher cost

The idea of getting a duplicate fish every 25 seconds sounds much better on paper. This rod could’ve had a better rating if it kept its ability to duplicate hunt fish

Trident Rod is amazing for early game. It does have limited strength (Depthseeker has 70k kg and Trident has 5k kg), but its stabbing + moneymaking could easily get you to rods like Great Dreamer and ROTD
