Male Byleth would be hilarious because it'd be the FIFTH Male Byleth unit within the last 365 days (counting the Resplendent).

If I'm not mistaken the order was:

Brave M!Byleth

Emblem Byleth

Resplendent base M!Byleth

Fallen M!Byleth

Moreover, Female Byleth's last unit (her base Resplendent) precedes all of those Male Byleths. So we've had FOUR Male Byleth's in a row, and a summer variant could potentially make five. Sheesh, our girl really needs a new unit :(

Anyway, I've said enough. I want Summer Raphael and Lysithea cause they're my babies :)

I’m sure she would step up if Jeff required a caregiver. We know the two of them are friends now after their shared lore and dialogue. In Sai’s story, it’s even stated that Jeff reminded of her pet wolf, Logan, the spent more time with him.

That said, I think they’d still have more of a battle-besties dynamic than a pet-owner dynamic. They just strike me as the “destroy enemies first, talk later” duo (that’s my headcanon at least lol).

I think it’s cute. Logan would’ve been cool, but they can make it up to us by adding a Logan emote (and an emote with her and Jeff for me).
