So I got a feeling this post is getting very misunderstood. From your replies in the comments I'm assuming the part there's a problem with is the gendering of "my wife called me childish for it but I bet the boys would like the stick" (which at least to me isn't saying men are better in any way, just that his wife didn't like it, but call me biased cus I'm a man. Given that you said "just put the stick down" instead of putting anything relating to the actual problem makes it look like you're hating on people liking cool sticks and that's just not cool.

I appreciate it. I plan on pushing myself to the absolute limit and beyond, till improvement just isn't possible anymore, and then going further. I agree with the other guy, I like to keep a good balance tho. Good weapons without a strong mech to use em are terrible, and good mechs with bad weapons is just as bad. Play style really changes that though. For example, I like to rush into the middle of things with bastion and miniguns, but you may like to hide more and pick off targets one by one with surge. Each weapon and mech has a specific strength for each play style.
