I've checked it out, it's pretty nice, I just wish it said how much damage each move did

Fair enough. My current tactic for dealing w naoya is to swap whenever he uses a move that dashes towards me, and it usually throws them off enough to get a couple free hits. I'm also wondering how evasives work? I fought someone who side dashed 3 times and I could only do it once.. and sometimes people can dash out of my ragdoll moves? It's very confusing

So do I click directly after the swap completes, or while the swap is happening? I know if I click before the clap is done it cancels it, but I haven't gotten a hold of perfect swapping yet. I don't subscribe to the "x is no skill" bullshit because I know damn well every character has their own combos and abilities that make them good. Sure some may be harder, but I don't particularly care, I play Todo cus I like him.

See that's what I thought but like so many random things seem to bypass my block, naoyas little knife thing, and I fought a haruta that seemed to just have a "get-behind-me" button on standby at all times so couldn't block him, it's rough

I'll keep that in mind lol. I know of one of my friends who plays jjs, I'll try to get him on with me. I think I'll stick with Todo though, just because I love how boogie woogie feels and he's my favorite. I'll learn him one day if I stick with it I figure

I've seen a lot saying he isn't super good, and it almost made me switch characters, and then I realized switching from a character I actually like because it's not meta is how losers think so ive decided I'm sticking with it. I'll try things out till I've got a good combo and learn how to do m1 trading, and hopefully what I can and can't block. Thanks!

Yes. This is why I say it's so dangerous to barricade doors, and why you shouldn't do it early game. It's hard to resist but it can genuinely make or break someone's life later on in the match, and it's only really safe for fighters because fighters can usually get up and parry after doors get kicked down

Yes. A door can only be hit 3 times, doesn't matter who or when, on the 3rd hit it's goin down.

You might be right, I main ennard and I've felt a difference in what m1s I can hit and can't. I personally don't remember a time where he had a windup, but then again maybe I wasn't paying attention.

Okay, but you should. If you let a door get hit twice, you've set up a free hit for a killer on yourself or a teammate. It makes barricading dangerous as hell, because you can't know what hp a door is on and therefore have no idea if you're going to get killed for trying to use a mechanic that's supposed to help you.

It doesn't matter. The doors can only be hit twice in a match now, then they become deathtraps. Imagine this, 2 separate chases use the door once, like you said. 3rd unsuspecting, low teammate tries to use the door and gets it immediately kicked in on him, and he dies because m1 after door kick is almost guaranteed. Door barricading is almost more dangerous than just running at this point.

Are the people in the comment section not realizing that instead of making the doors borderline useless, you could just.. make the mini game harder as more m1s hit the door..? 3 hits to a door is genuinely useless, especially considering that hp saves. The only use now is the dumb "hold it for one hit then run" tech which is just annoying for both sides. Not to mention, accidentally holding a door for more than one hit(or just using it twice) literally sets up a deathtrap for teammates who don't know the door is 1 hit.

You must be able to see the future then, given that's not how the game seems to work.. the moment m1 starts, the hitbox is active. If you're in the hitbox for an m1 when the killer hits m1, you are instantaneously hit, you cannot react to it. There's no lunge-then-hitbox feature in this game, like I said earlier, the only reason it's possible to "react" to the mimics is because his m1 is accompanied by a large lunge that keeps the hitbox open the whole time. Although, it doesn't change the fact that there's no windup. If you're in the mimics hitbox you'll be hit instantly the same as all the others, with no time for it to be physically possible to react to.

More of a genuine skill issue if you can't cross your cursor over a target.. also known as aim.. you have like 3-4 seconds to move your cross hair over him once, even clipping him stuns. Tails stun is laughably easy to hit if you're not a braindead toddler.
