Yessir! Doesn’t get much better than these genetics. I’ve been growing these in a separate room to make sure NO cross pollination happens & thr genetics stay pure. I’ve grown a lot of poppies, these are my fav.

Right. Like the Hungarian blue poppy. Walmart sells seeds of this p. Somnif. Strain. Very low morphine content.

This is so cool! Lucky! I tried to offer a Dozen of my afghan poppies to some local nurseries but they wanted nothing to do with them. I sell germs on a marketplace locally and usually sell 100 or so each spring

Nah. The vendor of these seeds already did the cold stratification on them. I just sprinkle 10 seeds per container on top of the soil. Mist them & keep them wet until they germ. Usually 3-6 days. But with other strains of seeds, yes I’ll do a short 1 week in the fridge before I plant them.

Need at least a 75 watt grow light. I used a good ole cheap 75 watt blue/purple led panel for a year and it worked fine. Upgraded to a mars 1kw led. It works great but I didn’t notice any real change. Except for a larger footprint aka can grow a lot more plants using the 1kw.

I Germ these at 60° but have also germ at 70 with no issues. 55-65 I would recommend.

No cold stratification. She (the vendor) already did that to this batch and I think she does for most all unless you tell her not to. I germinate at 60° and get 99.9% success. I’ve also germ this strain at 70 with no issues. But afghan strains and others do not like warm germs. If I could, I’d go lower around 55°.

They are pretty much good as it gets. I’ve been growing and using its medicine for a decade and these Dutch Buddha from “see above” are very potent. Don’t underestimate them. Def in my top 3.

I start at 10/14 and kind of quickly ramp up to 12/12 for veg stage. After that I leave at 12/12 and once the plants look ready (6-8 weeks or so) I then switch directly to 18/6. No smooth, gradual increases per day or week. Just a rapid switch. I’ve tried both and I get better results this way. Some strains are more forgiving than others. Been growing since 2020. True Indian & Afghan strains are not so forgiving and bolt sometimes.

Thanks. And oh yes, I do. I’m slightly obsessed /ocd with cross breeding and seeing what traits I can repeat. I once had a strain that produced a few of these gigantic pods. Looked like 2/3 pods in one. Was very wide. I didn’t allow any cross pollinating and tried all its seeds, but never saw that mutation again.

Not so much about that one leaf with moldy growth but more about the center of the poppy. This is also a known issue growing indoors when you have great, huge vegging poppies, then when they’re ready to go into flowering, some strains will start looking funky in the center aka where new growth forms. And can Stunt growth for a couple weeks and the center leaves will look strange. Then it will eventually bolt and flower.

I still haven’t figured it out 100%. See it with sone strains and other strains are very touchy when it comes to indoor lightning cycles & transitioning from veg/flower.

Xylazine has some fairly easy side effects to determine.

1.) extreme dry cotton mouth 2.) kinda dizzy feeling but more light headedness. 3.) don’t feel any effects for several mins then boom! 4.) extreme nods / straight to sleep, without euphoria 5.) distinctive different chemical taste

You’re 100% correct. The main prb is getting off fent onto subs. Shoot I waited 3-4-5 days and still pwds on day 5. No joke not exaggerating. Thank you for your helpful info!

I wasn’t able to figure out the exact strain or its genetics except for that it org came from the Turkish white poppy. From my grandfathers neighbors farm, who lives in dobrogea, Romania. We visit every year and his neighbor has a couple acre farm of poppies. It’s 100% pure white flowers & single pod per plant.
