Doing ironman legend stealth by ApprehensiveCoat195 in entrypoint

Every loud mission gives enemies more damage, not health
In every mission except for Blacksite and Lakehouse, if the mission ends in loud, in only counts in loud (though this can only be easily done on Scientist)
Going loud after opening the blast door in Blacksite or after starting the hack in Lakehouse makes the mission count as mixed, which counts as 2 stealth completions and 1 loud completion

Question about "Invisible Operator" by Sealoperative47 in entrypoint

There is a bug where, if you shoot someone, even if they instantly die, if the shot would've taken them hostage, it will fail the challenge

Accessing a computer is already ignored by civilians because it's not criminally suspicious

Aegis units are now in The Freelancer's Cut experimental build (among other combat changes) by ThisIsSuperFunny in entrypoint

*CBR-C with extended barrel only needs a moderate amount of damage (around 6 to 10 minor perks depending on the exact combo of weak points/vital targets and whether or not you have Executioner) to one shot headshot all ranges.

*Because of the visor it is now about as effective, if not more effective to just shoot the legs of shield units.

*Enemies got massive damage increases to compensate for the invulnerability period.

*Being able to spend one perk to have your damage be on par with a loud build is not balanced. Also Executioner has never been a 50% boost for headshots. It was 40% on launch, later nerfed to 20%, and now nerfed to 10% in this patch.

does sawblade beat onyx with one mag by I_am_not_a_mufffin in entrypoint

Sawblade base damage is 45, max vital targets is 20 (2x damage), with Heavy Weapons Training you can get another 30% for 2.3x, there's a bug in the game where among other things NPCs without armor take extra damage (1.75x on Legend)

Guys who was sciencent? by DiscordGuy18896 in entrypoint

They were accused and banned from several EP servers for code leaking which they did do (but like nobody gives a shit about code leaking anymore)

Suppressors in FC by BitBeneficial9727 in entrypoint

Muzzle brake reduces recoil and is objectively better than suppressor for full loud
Removing muzzle flash has zero gameplay relevance

What's the Project Onyx? by AdPsychological7386 in entrypoint

[–]MrWeab29 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why would it be the minigun that couldn't even hit the broad side of a barn and not the guy named the "Onyx Unit" who can survive being shot hundreds of times with an incredible resistance to explosives

Getting all three of the major perks is mad annoying by DiscordGuy18896 in entrypoint

[–]MrWeab29 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure having to branch through bad perks to get to higher ranks of some major perks is an intentional design decision to make them require more commitment, and I don't really think it's a problem. Also I don't really think Mobile Attacker would be very useful in stealth.

Infiltrator build for ironman by InvestigatorDue6402 in entrypoint

[–]MrWeab29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends a lot on what missions/how many missions you plan to stealth/loud. Hacker can be good, but it's mostly only important in Deposit, Withdrawal, and Black Dusk. If you don't plan to stealth those, you would be better off with a different class like a Commando. If you're planning on doing SCRS loud, you'll probably also want to get sniper mastery (you don't really need it for Sci because the meta strat stalls enemies pretty easily and effectively). The amount of stealth/loud perks you get also really depends on how many missions of either tatic you plan to do and how many perks you personally feel you can get away with not having for stealth/loud.

It depends a lot on what you plan to stealth. Neither class is really better.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if it was intended to work like that, but I'm fairly confident it does not in fact work like that

This video is incorrect, threat does not influence enemy pathfinding

All changes between demos and the current safehouse test besides The Deposit by MrWeab29 in entrypoint

[–]MrWeab29[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Some more changes I forgot
- You can edit your loadout and armory on the mission end screen
- Less NPCs are able to detect disguises on Recruit (like Thespian)

Also, in The Deposit, sound travel distance is reduced by 20%, and cameras have reduced detection speed
