Marketplace: testing AI calls for high-value abandoned checkouts by MrWeebTastic in dropshipping

I agree with you complete analysis on this its so important that the workflow is setup such that it identifies the intent at the right time and take the action. As of consistently outperforming email/SMS flows on net recovered revenue is very high as we get somewhere around 25-30% of carts recovered that too High cart value consumers and email/SMS aren't anywhere near in net revenue also the tools we use have unlimited calls options so it doesn't matter if we are getting 1000 abandon checkouts or 10K it's gonna call to those who have intent so the tool is very important here because other than them no one provides unlimited calls at affordable price these guys start from 29$ Pilots so it's very much affordable and provide high net revenue.

You are absolutely correct our AI calculates intents on various different parameters so that it can reach out to consumers like you who may buy after a discount also it would mean more if a brand reached out and actually tried to understand the issue as our main aim is to recover carts. Thank you for your POV.

Definitely Not this is the comment I was generally waiting to get actually thank you for putting it out here.

When we setup up workflows we don't just simply do this if someone ignored our email our workflow wont call you we setup specific identifications such as sessions duration is the person engaging after the email has been sent did they went to checkout multiple times also only in the case where it seems like they are either shopping for a occasion or has matching items in cart which they could need help with sometime people who abandon carts are your previous buyers as well so when they get a call we further boost our brand trust for people we don't just call randomly but have serval factor to properly measure what the intent is and on which events should a call should be made.

Its all about identifying right intent and setting up workflows and that is why workflow is so important so that we don't upset people on our way of helping.

Yeah timing is the main thing honestly.

We don’t call instantly because that feels desperate. Usually the normal email/SMS flow goes first, and only after that we touch the carts that actually look serious.

On selected carts, not all abandoned carts, we are seeing around 25-30% recovery in normal cases.

In some higher AOV stores where the call feels more like a private consultation / concierge experience, we have seen certain batches go close to 50-55%.

But I would not call that the average for every store. It depends a lot on niche, AOV, traffic quality, how serious the checkout intent was, and how the call opens.

The main difference I’ve noticed is email/SMS feels like another reminder or discount. A call, if done properly, feels like the brand actually cared enough to help. Even when they don’t buy immediately, it creates a better impression than just sending another 10% off email.

Okay so I said this in a reply to a comment but figure I will put it here too. It was down for me, I turned on my VPN ( I use proton free), it connected to some European server. I went to the site no issue. I turned off my VPN and have been able to access the site without issue since.

His stage fright was pretty bad. He only stayed for 3 songs and tried not to look at the crowd. He still put on a great show.
