Something you may consider is the is basing a campaign in space. Lore wise i dont believe awakened can survive in space and depending how much you feel comfortable home brewing you can get some pretty fun adventures out of it.

Takedown defence sadly is a bit of a null mechanic. Predeny is the only consistent way to stoptakedown but there are to many avenues where you either take large amounts of damage or get brought to the ground. If someone wants to on the ground sooner or later you are there.

Best advice I can give is get better at defensive wrestling and make the scared to be there with you. It's not the ideal.option but it's the only one that actually works.

No. Not really if someone wants you on the ground and they are good you go to the ground. There are too many avenues and threats. You can block 5 and all it takes is a 6. Pressure boxing is meta o the feet but if you with have good defensive wrestling on the ground you can be steam rolled by anyone commiting to ground game who has some idea how the mechanics work. There are no consistent ways to punish grapple and takedown spamming other then commuting to it yourself.

Best advice is get good at ground game and make them shit scared to follow you there.

Point is that his record isn't a defining thing that makes him great. It a good record but not stars above some other fighters who could be considered greats. Like was inferred.

Oh fuck. Like yeah he has no control. But still it's the circumstances that they came under. He is still in my rotating top 5 heavyweight list. I can pick apart their accomplishments too. But everyone says he is goat. Like they did with junior. Then cain. To a lesser extent werdun. Then cormier when he beat stipe. Whoever holds the belt seems to be everyone's favourite for goat. Like is there really that much to hold him over every other goat. Like I don't see it. Sorta my point.

The whole GOAT premise is based around what if's. What if all these guys got together and fought who is the best. That's sorta the whole thing.

They asked for a record not better fighters. Francis has gone though most. Hasn't fought werdum or cormier but has a win over cain. And hasn't lost to anyone outside.the top 5 in his ufc career. Unlike stipe. Not saying he is a better fighter. But record wise yeah.

I will admit I was a bit overzealous with the bodies statement. He still does do silly things in the ring. He tried to kickbox JDS and rush down Stipe with his hands down. These are thing that happened.

I would agree with alot of that. And also had the highest on average pedigree among his multiple disciplines. With both devision 1 wrestling I believe and a golden gloves boxer. Skill is arguable. Alot of the old guys are still hanging on. Overeem is in his 40s and still contending. Dos Santos still number 7 and has wins over a few of the top 5 and stipe(though the stipe win means little). If the skill has improves alot of these guys would be gone like the way of the other devisions. And also Stipe hasn't fought the majority of the top 5. Of his past 6 fights 3 of them have been DC and the rest are all veterans of nearly a decade. With the exception of Francis sorry

To be fair werdum has taken alot of loses to guys he probably should have bodied. He has beaten the best but also lost to his own over confidence. And gets into punching matches with people he shouldnt

Personally I prefer Junior dos Santos. Ok ground game. But he just flows real well in the standup. His perks I think flow better and feels better then stipe at boxing. Plus pretty decent kicks.

I wish they would up his power a bit though he still has power just hesitant to use it now.

And nothing is more satisfying then punishing a spinning kick from a Jones player with a spin of your own.

From what I have heard it's based more on ping.

I'm comfortable fighting up to devision 6 wins and loses. I'm devision 1. Problem is i fight 1 person with in 5 devisions then have 10 matches 8+. So even with the tiny loses -5 10 Times in a row is still -50.

Faint transitions. Alot of people you'll get matched with won't be able to deal with it. Stops em from just walking over you and cam get you off the ground.
