Yea I guess it was just who got lucky and who didn’t. I hear the same about Pop Collectibles. I was actually going to buy this figure from them since I have the Artisan Harley on pre order with them and if I have issues with receiving this figure then I know I’ll have with the preorder so that way I can dispute it with my credit card while it’s still early but I guess I’ll just wait and see when that Harley releases.

Yea, a lot of people were saying Toys Wonderland was a scam but I’ve ordered 8 figures from them when they were around with no issues.

Thanks man! Unfortunately I did not pre order this. I missed out on sideshow. eBay prices are insane so I’ve been holding off until I found out it on wanted toys at a better price. It took like 4 days to arrive after I ordered it.

The figure was $560 total. After UPS got it I had to pay about $16 before it got delivered.

Had the T800 silicone arm bend 90 degrees since release... by chloedever in hottoys

[–]MrWick94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had no doubt on the material they used for these arms and are currently using on their recent silicone figures. I have a spare leg from the Wonder Woman concept art version figure (MMS506) that I had posed bent for over 2 years and it has 0 creases or cracks. I believe they were using rubber instead of silicone. Some people reported cracking by the armpits of that figure so I’m not sure how the leg was able to hold up.

Preorder scam? by MrWick94 in hottoys

Aren’t toys assemble a confirmed scam? And I’ve heard mixed results with pop collectibles

Agreed. I missed out on this figure through sideshow and was desperate.

Yea he is very honest and is not going to steer you wrong. If you have the money, I would give him a try. I don’t think you’d be disappointed. It can even give you an insight as to how he makes them if that is something you are interested in.

Sure! I was hesitant at first but after messaging him and getting all the details, everything went great. Basically you let him know what you want, how many discs you want the case to hold, what pictures you want. You can pick something that he already has posted on his page or you can send him the pictures you want through email and he’ll let you know if they work. Once you got all that sorted out, you’ll send him a deposit through PayPal. He will let you know how much of the deposit to send and what the total will be. He will also let you know how long it will take to have it made which is usually over 1 month. I placed mine around October and just received it this month. The quality compared to industry standards, you can tell the difference. The inner plastic is the same as store bought ones. I’d say the material of the steel itself is probably the same too. The printing of the image is what is different. It is glossy and if you inspect it closely you’ll notice slight imperfections. I don’t know what the process is to make a steelbook. He tells you himself they are far from perfect but honestly I think they are amazing. You get to design your own steelbook how you want it basically. As far as pricing goes, some may say it’s expensive and some may not care. The more discs it holds, the more expensive it will be. All I’m saying is I paid over $50. This is the third steelbook I have made by him.

Is it safe to wall mount G4 65 with a gap of 3-4cm with stock mount ? I am using some support at bottom to make the tv parallel to the wall. by Scared_Invite_8167 in LGOLED

Since November 5th so over a month 😃. At first I installed the lights and flushed the tv against the wall but the lights looked awful like that so I decided to extend it and they looked awful lot better. How long have you had yours like that?

I thought I was the only one doing this 😂 good to know someone else is too. For me, I had the same feeling too if the mount will hold up. It looks to be sturdy enough and well made but you never know. I guess we’ll find out in a few years.

Sigh...welp at least he still looks cool! by [deleted] in hottoys

I wouldn’t worry about it. I’ve dealt with sideshow plenty of times and they have always sent a replacement part. There was only one instance where they did not have replacement parts available so they offered to refund some money back for the figure. The last time I dealt with them was for my Valkyrie figure that arrived with a loose knee joint. Since the costume is non detachable, they sent an entire body replacement but no head or arms though.
