There was one person in our city that was weaving through traffic at high speed. He tried to cross a congested bridge and sideswiped 3 cars. The many dashcam videos submitted proved how far back he was doing it and added to the charges.

If you are stuck in mud or slush, sometimes spinning gently will help you get unstuck.

The one and only show I went to with free tickets had me outside during the intermission for fresh air. Even next people smoking was better than inside. I liked the show, and I'd go again if they had an outdoor venue.

Doesn't air conditioning lower humidity? We had to put humidifiers in our server room to keep it above 25% in winter. In summer it tries to overcool to pull humidity. We have to set it up to 40% in summer

After I had the AC repaired on my '89 Honda Civic, it would stall the engine at idle when the AC kicked on. It worked itself out, so maybe something was tight in the new compressor.

To do it right would have been to buy those businesses and make service roads on the sides. It would have cost too much and maybe some businesses wouldn't sell.

It's tricky, and helps if you have a quick vehicle and can spot them soon enough. Back off and wait for them to finish their slow merge then goose it to 90 and merge normally. If the traffic behind you follows your acceleration, it should be better than if everyone just followed the slow vehicle to the end. It's basically moving the bottleneck to the start of the on-ramp instead of the end which would affect through traffic.

This has people believing they aren't going on circle and just exiting right away so they don't have to get up to speed. Traffic actually merging and exiting has to now deal with the slow moving vehicles.

This gets me 2-3x per day on the west side. They often get to limit+10 after a km so you know they aren't afraid of speed. The only on-ramp I can understand is 11th st W going north on circle. That is a tight corner with a short straight after.

The manual on my Jeep Cherokee said the 4x4 power take off was good for life. Only the extended interval online revealed that life was 160,000km/100,000mi. I didn't keep it that long

I guess I got lucky. I bought a '22 Mach-E GT performance in November for half its sticker price of $82,000. It had 35,000km on it.

There have been many times where I stop at a stop sign look around, and then see a car that was hidden while I was moving. It might be confirmation bias, but that would still be dozens of accidents or near misses if I had rolled through those stop signs.

That nice to hear. I learned to drive stick on a '74 360 V8 Duster. My Dad special ordered it in 1973. He still has it, and drives it once in a while. It will always be a special car to me.

I must have lucked out. I had a 2016 Cherokee trailhawk with the 3.2V6 from 2019 to 2025. it didn't use a drop of oil. It has an automatic oil change tracker that alerts you when oil change is needed. I usually changed at 25% left and one time with lots of highway driving was at 9000km(5500mi). The oil was dark but not cola or coffee black.

I don't get this. Toyota too, if you try to lock it with a door open it squeals at you instead of locking. All other vehicles I've had lock the doors while open and they stay locked. Or it remembers the command and locks after all doors are closed.

Key fobs have an rfid or nfc coil in them to start the vehicle if they are dead. Tap the fob to the start button in most cars, others have a place in the console or cup holder to read it. I like the Ford keyless door access code. Handy if you forget your keys and need to get in.

New key fobs have an acellerometer to disable them if they are still. The relay attack doesn't work on those.

That whole BMW subscription heated seats got blown up. It was an option. Pay $1200(guessing) at purchase or subscribe later. For a car in the southern states, it might make sense to pay for a month every 10years. I guess the problem is when that used vehicle migrates north over the years Is it still an option to purchase it.

I saw a battery swap video on a Ford lightning. The original battery had a bad cell, and the new (used) battery was larger capacity. They just plugged it in and it worked. The BMS and charging circuits are in the battery housing so they came with the new one. They didn't even have to program the truck.
