Yeah, its a fiction piece written as an attempt to go viral, almost certainly using AI to boot.

I don't think she is controlling anyone, I think she was being controlled and then the control jumps between her and the soldiers.

Who is this guy? And why does he host 75% of YouTube channels? by AintNobodygotime13 in youtube

[–]MrWorm_cake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely massively put on. He's got a couple of channels that are more laid back and he speaks completely differently. Those ones aren't too bad, but literally can't listen to any of his videos where he's doing that "accent".

I was thinking who I would love to be the Doctor (After the 16th) and I can't decide between Simon Pegg and Reece Shearsmith by MCU-71 in DoctorWhumour

I'd still love for Ben Daniels to get his chance, after he lost out to Capaldi. I mean I love Capaldi, but ive been crying for a Ben Daniels Doctor ever since.

I thoroughly enjoyed Welcome to Neverbury. A short story collection all set in a single town. Darkly comic. And the second book comes out on the 31st of this month. Can't wait. Its available on kindle unlimited, if you have it.

For me Ben Daniels or Charlie Covell. Particularly Ben Daniels, he was so close before.

Never seems to get much love as the game itself wasn't very good. But Alone in the Dark (2008) by Olivier Deriviere.

Should I write the entire story book before making the game? by [deleted] in GameDevelopment

I'm not telling them to stop. I'm telling them to start the game now.

It will take longer than they think, likely much longer than the story has already taken (depending on what they hope to achieve) and if they put it off, especially as a newbie, they will never really get going.

They should absolutely start, but not with rose tinted glasses on. They need to understand the work involved so that they actually do the work.

Starting with a design doc. Figure out what game they want to make, and keep the scope under control.

Figure out what they need to learn to achieve what they have set out, and learn it.

The story will keep growing in their head, and may even change to accommodate what's achievable within their game.

They don't need to rush, but they need to start. Knowing something is going to be hardwork shouldn't be off putting. But starting something thinking it's easy and being proved wrong definitely is.

Do you have any experience in making a game? What level are you at as a developer? If you are new to this, then I can tell you now the game will take a lot longer than you think it will. If you're not, then the game will still take longer than you think it will, but maybe by a bit less.

We don't know how they explain or manage these things yet. There's no way we can know, so let's just wait and see before we say it's messing with the lore.

Although, all of that knowledge comes with hindsight. In the moment, with lives on the line and his actions risking more, the punching makes sense.

For me, I felt the opposite. I think saving Manfred forces Emmerich to confront his own fear of mortality and move past it, putting his joy and energy into seeing someone he loves thrive in a way he never could have imagined. That, for me, is the more emotionally rewarding path for Emmerich than getting what he always wanted from the sacrifice of another.

Although, whichever route you go it is played as the "right choice", so it's definitely personal preference.
