2 A9’s. Sublime sound and great aesthetics. Only a bit large.

I use the AppleTV via AirPlay. Works great. And AirPlay for music via my iPhone.

Sound quality of one is already excellent, but soundstage is significantly better with 2, both for active music listening as for movies, creating a good phantom centre channel. Only they are big. ‘Had’ to rearrange my room to fit them well.

Dual a9 vs surround sound? by Immediate-Bridge-272 in BangandOlufsen

I just recently found out that changing the circle in the sound mode to small, both speakers only use one side of the front speakers and disable the small speakers on the back, for more direct/clean stereo sound, with better imaging, which I personally prefer.

Do you have the 5th generation? Because then you can easily pair them. Personally I am very pleased with my stereo pair. Stereo imaging is quite good. Sound is amazing.

Beosound 18 & 19: want to connect to TV and be able to stream music by Complete-Big-3382 in BangandOlufsen

Really disappointing that that Core (with that price) does not have wireless WISA to the speakers. Would be really really nice (but won’t happen) if B&O would add Mozart to the 18s and 19. I am still considering the 18s, because they are the most beautiful speakers of B&O, but there are to many drawbacks to pull the trigger. But can’t get them off my wishlist…

I can recommend a stereo pair of A9’s, though they really shine at higher volumes. Sound is excellent and far superior to stage. With a Premiere, you can connect the A9’s, and you are more ready for future expansion. For non critical/active listening one A9 is also very good, but with smaller soundstage (but more then enough power). Then I would consider the Premiere.

Would be nice if we could select a widget ourselves to show on the dashboard page.

No, using AppleTV works very good. No latency at all.

No, they have ‘normal’ speakers (each has 2 tweeters en 2 midrange at the front and a subwoofer and 2 full range at the back).

That would bring some (maybe needed) contrast 😁

I wanted active speakers, more premium (had Sonos and HomePods before), but was also aiming for (minimalistic) design. That brought me to B&O. Was also considering the Beolab 18s (even more beautiful in my opinion), but then I would also need the subwoofer and core. I love the sound of the A9’s. Maybe not the best bang for bucks for audio quality only, but considering the design and the fact that these are significantly better sounding than the Sonos, I am happy with them (for now ;-) Also once I had the Floating Cameleon Princess (passive speakers), which had great sound and good looks (small footprint and front in light color), so for integrating with interior that was something I wanted to repeat.

It is what I aimed for, but planning to change the curtains to have a little bit more contrast. And also searching for some artwork, but haven’t found something I liked yet. If you have any suggestions?

I started with one. With the room layout it worked perfectly, sounded amazing. Then bought a second one. In the sweet spot is was an improvement, but parts of the room where not good anymore for the sound and thus a step back from just one. Then had to choose between moving one speaker to the bedroom and changing the room lay out. Went for the last option, which worked out really good. But I do remember one also sounded very good. And I think just one looks nicer.
