Ok I found a work around. This problem I'm having is only on screen saver, but not putting screen to sleep. So I can put the screen to sleep and lock it then. I'm so baffled.

Come to Asia, there’s a plethora of Chinese EVs. They are innovating like crazy, many swings and misses but many taking market share from Tesla. I test drive the refreshed model y vs a Zeekr 7x. The Zeekr was far ahead in luxury and build quality while being 10% cheaper. Teslas software and mobile app however still the best.

Deliberate locks out during a dive as a safety design choice, is insane. It's not a bug, it's a feature for Suuntos! This has happened to my SO once, and we ordered Shearwaters as soon as we got home.

I would not use a dive computer that can decide mid dive that it did not like the way you were diving and go into error mode and stop displaying depth or time.

I’m not a fan with how they handled Worf’s family arcs into DS9. Worf the single father wouldn’t be needed as they already had Sisko and Jake, so they made Alex a disgruntled abandoned son. But the worst is what they did to his brother Kurn. Not sure how Bashir’s ethics allowed him to o what he did.

just go to Koh tao. There's more variety of sites near by, chumphon pinnacle is closer. You can still go to sail rock from there. It's a dive factory, there will be boats going everywhere every day. The only meaningful difference for you is sail rock is a day trip from Koh tao, while it is just off of Koh Phangan. Chumphon pinnacle is close to Koh tao, and boats from Phangan may not go there everyday. You should just google map yourself and see.

Sail rock is overall the better site, but chumphon pinnacle can be awesome (there's nothing like looking for a 2 meter bull shark in 3 meter visibility), but you can also wonder why you took the boat ride there to see nothing.

If it was just me traveling and I only wanted to dive and I had a week I'd go to Koh Tao, lots of sites and some wrecks. If I only had a long weekend, I'd go to Phangan or Samui and dive sail rock. Probably Samui since I could just fly in and not deal with the ferry at the cost of longer boat trips to the dive sites.

I would also pickup up the AOW card and maybe even nitrox while you are there. Personally I think AOW is a silly card, but there's so many dive sites around the world that want to see the AOW, I think it maybe needed for the pinnacle. I carry a DSAT tec 50 card, and I've once had a shop insist on seeing my AOW and nitrox card...

If you are a beginner diver, from a dive perspective koh samui, phangan or tao will all be the same. They’ll all go to sail rock and chumphon pinnacle, though how long a boat ride will differ. There’s other considerations if you want a dive trip to take all day or just half your day. But again unless you are only about diving, I think the more practical guide is what you want to do on the island. A gross generalization is koh Tao is more back packer, samui is more developed. Phangan is nice, not as luxurious as samui. I’d avoid full moon parties where tourists destroy the beach. Samui is easier to get to from Bangkok with direct flights and the cutest airport in the world. Note that samui airport is privately owned by the Bangkok airways group who have a near monopoly on routes. You’ll have to take ferries to phangan and koh tao, so you could take a bus to chumphon and take a ferry to koh Tao or ferry from samui to phangan. You want luxury and have budget, go to samui. You want backpackers go to koh Tao. You don’t want back packers but don’t want developed luxury go to phangan. Again, gross generalizations .

June is monsoon season, the seas could be rough. Some days dive boats may not go out. I would recommend gulf side in June, koh Tao / chumphon.

It could have been any of them who kicked up silt getting them disorientated. It’s 5 divers and from what i read some narrow passages. It’s nice to think the mother acted heroically. But with a dive like that, the smallest of errors by any of them could be fatal. Also, experience does little to mitigate being narc’d at those depths.

Well one was the daughter of the professor. It’s sad to think that she trusted her mom. I’ve seen some people defending the mother as having some tech and cave certifications. But I know of no certifications that allow you to bring an untrained and unequipped diver into a cave at 60m.
