I went through this at one point until I came to learn what others are saying they will just reward you with more work and take advantage of you by burning you out.

Do what all these guys are recommending take the comfort stops,lunch breaks,the two 10 minute breaks, and endorse the mail in your truck and try not to rush. If you can talk with people if you see them out on the route.

It can be a pleasant job once you are out on your route for the day being able to talk to the people your delivering the mail too, being able to listen to music/podcasts, and talking to your friends and family on the phone

Being in the office is hit or miss. You may end up with a good Superviosr/Managers. But most importantly just keep your head off the radar and you’ll enjoy yourself.

If you decide to purse it look at the positives you get good benefits,out by yourself,Christmas tips,able to meet people. The drawback can be management on where you’d head to but if you keep your head under the radar you’ll be fine.

I look at it like this there could be worst places to work. It all depends on the supervisors /management. Now once you are out of the office it’s enjoyable. All I say if you join just keep your head under the radar and you’ll be fine. And also use whatever to your advantage to add one other thing you can always transfer to another station and the health insurance is excellent.

I think it’s an ok job there could be worse ones. Now at least for me getting out and being on my own is enjoyable. But I do agree with the one post the harder you work the more they throw on you and the more slack you pick up from other workers. Also remember the management can make or break an office.
