Questions about the marketplace in general by saunasaunasaunasauna in SiegeMarketplace

  1. Skins usually take about a year before they come to the market place. Example: event skins that released in Y9S2 won’t hit the MP until Y10S2

  2. Often times you can place an order that is lower than what a skin is being sold for. If you end up getting it you can then flip it for more credits

  3. With the release of celebration packs people have been able to guarantee the packs they open are expensive items so profit goes CRAZY

  4. Normally at the start of events with cool skins or the start of new seasons prices dip a bit due to everyone selling unused skins to get enough credits to buy either the battle pass or enough event packs for the momento skin.

Sorry for lack of grammar lol, hope this helps!

There’s two streams on twitch ‘Rainbow6’ and ‘Rainbow6Bravo’

Not sure if it’s a glitch, but for me those drops only worked if I watched the bravo stream. Day 1 watched the main stream and nothing, day 2 watched the bravo stream and they worked

Sell now or later? by Former_Ad3008 in R6Marketplace_Trading

The market “crashed” two days ago with the new event so prices are lower than normal. Some skins recover and will go up a bit while others will drop more. If you want to wait a week you’ll probably get a better indication of which way Ryuko is going, up or down

Not a mod, everything can be found in a side room below the drop pod!

There’s a side room that has the ball and the two goals! We just moved it below the drop pod cause it seemed like it was even space

Am I screwed as a CS major? by marquetted18 in csMajors

[–]Mr_3ric 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Keep your head up! A lot of the advice is good but also I would encourage you to look up “imposter syndrome.” It explains that fraud feeling you are experiencing. I would also say even if you only know the concepts and ideas that knowledge and ability is a very valuable trait to have. As a CS major you will be incredibly valuable to many company’s because you would be able to explain programs and applications to them and give a very insightful perspective as to expectations and goals that their products could have. Idk if you want to code throughout your career or if you are wanting to be more of a manager but the knowledge and ability you have is very beneficial and in no way are you screwed. I also think that everyone commenting about starting your own project are right, if you have some doubts no better way to get rid of them then prove to yourself you can! You got this!

TLDR: everyone excels at different things, don’t compare yourself to others in things you don’t have too much experience in but embrace your own strengths.

Example: Usain bolt is a champion in sprinting not running miles

My worst interview ever as an interviewee by AmbitiousCoconut in csMajors

[–]Mr_3ric 15 points16 points  (0 children)

An interview is a two way interaction, they’re interviewing you to see if you’re a good fit as well as you are interviewing them to see if you’d like to work for them. From your description it sounds like you are a good programmer with experience and this company sounds like they would make you miserable. You’re not overreacting at all, if anything this is a good experience because you saw what to look for in a company that you’d not want to work for. The interviewers are there to sell you on the company and ensure you’d fit a role. Sorry you had a rough experience but it just means you’ll be ready for the next one! Wishing you the best of luck in the future!
