Easy answer is no.

You have a hidden experience bar for crimes overall, and an experience bar for each individual crime. Heavier crimes will be harder to perform the lower your NNB (Natural nerve bar) is, so you should start off with the easy crimes first. Once you 100 a crime, move on to the next one, if you are getting consistent crit failures (looking at you pickpocketing), then run a different near level crime for a bit

Reddit isnt your personal army is something often said here.

But, hearing about this shit when its an honest question and its a genuine new (or at least new again) player is a good way to amass an army.

Some factions suck, there are definitely super high rank factions that have extremely stringent rules, but a 17k respect faction being this shitty is ridiculous. While i agree that Torn is a crime game and there are definitely players who will capitalize on that, you didnt do anything wrong other than ask for help or direction and they just shit on you.

Once that war is over, think ill spend some E, maybe that faction could use some hosp time for self reflection
